I was more than pleased with the quality, so much so, I ordered a second one.

Not bad. The quality of the female end jack is not that great.

I Purchased this Oripure to replace a Dimarzio DP36 Super Natural Plus Because I didn't like how it covered up too much opening in the sound hole. I felt it hindered the sound when I played it unplugged and it was a hassle always having to remove it. When I first plugged in the Oripure I thought it was a bit bright but figured this was due to the single coil nature. Then I did a comparison of plugged in and unplugged sound and actually found it quite close to the unplugged natural acoustic sound. The Dimarzio was actually coloring the sound. It may not be a high end LR Baggs or Fishman But it has a tone quality that quite impressively exceeds it's cost.

Works great .installs easy with minimum skill set. And has a great tone that you can adjust with the small slide levers on each side! I strongly recommend that you read the instructions about the size of sound hole it can be used with . It's adjustable to a certain extent but we're talking Millimeters not inches"! Over all good purchase .a little pricey ! But that depends on what you wish to have as far as sound quality! As this far beats any clip on Piezo rod pick ups out there ,in tone and it's controllability!👍

Best way to amp an acoustic guitar that has no pickup. Seems to be mediocre sound

Mounts quickly on my Ibanez. Sounds more natural than the undersaddle piezo pickups. Recommended.

First thing first: Mine arrived missing a few crucial pieces for installation.I didn't get the two bottom pieces or the screws to attach them to the equivalent parts on the ends of the pickup, which forms the slots gripping the edge of the sound hole. So I can't actually "Install" this at all. But I did try it out with the pickup just sitting there in attempt to get some sense of the sound quality, even of compromised by lack of a secure fit.As for the sound, it is apparent that the pickup provides a clear enough tone, without altering the sound of the guitar that much. I would say it's certainly not incredible, but not bad at all for this price range. The onboard controls provide some volume and tone adjustment, which is nice.The jack is a bit heavy and clunky, but durable. And the wiring appears sound, as I had no discernible noise. given this is most likely used with a completely acoustic guitar, and that most people aren't about to drill a hole in order to hose the wire and jack internally, I would think you;d want a cable that is longer, as it needs to hang out from the sound hole and be placed in a way as to be plugged in without the cord dangling and without encumbering movement.All of that said, I'd really like to rate this higher, but not being able to install it makes that impossible. I have contacted the seller about the missing parts, and i'll edit this review if/when I get a response.
