I love this Fondue pot. Easy to clean. Looks great. Keeps cheese melted with a low flame sturno.

We are very pleased with this set. The pot is heavy cast iron and provides even heat distribution. It has nice enamel inside and out with the blue colored pot. It comes with a decent recipe for basic cheese fondue. We make the fondue on our stove top and once it is done, place it on the stand for serving. The forks that are provided are also good quality.Note: it is important to "season" the pot before every use to ensure easy clean-up. instructions for seasoning are included.

The fondue set came as was described in details of website.It has been a wonderful asset to have for dinner parties and everyone has commented on it how fantastic it looks. It has been easy to use and become a regular weekend fondue party!

I love everything about this fondue set. But another reviewer did warn me that the cast iron pot may be too heavy for "those of a certain age". So if you're elderly, this set is not for you. I purchased a black clay pot and now have a wonderful fondue set.

Amazing quality fondue pot to add as a second pot for large fondue dinners at our home. This is every bit as good as the one we purchased in Germany, and is actually more versatile with the enameled cast iron pot. It's base is also quite attractive, and reminded me of the many fondue meals we have enjoyed in Zermatt, Davos, and Zurich. The only challenge is finding the appropriate fondue fuel gel in the US, as it seems Swissmar has stopped selling it in bottle in the US. I travel to Canada and buy it there frequently, and I think you can also use Sterno fire starting gel as well.

Fire starter! The pot itself is fine. The problem is that the stand is not connected to the base tray. If you have cooked on these before then you probably had one that is a pot sitting on a fixed stand. This one is literally a 3-tier system. I have had countless bowls of fondue in my life. I am not a beginner. This stand is dangerous. Luckily, I was using a gel fuel, not a liquid fuel. This is the only thing that kept my house from burning down when the stand fell apart. The gel was slow to pour out and I was able to contain the fore to my rug and my couch. If it was a liquid fuel, it would have been disastrously life changing. Buyer beware!
