Mostly okay, but they're not designed for heavy duty weeding, it seems
Very comfortable to wear, which is a nice change for gardening gloves. Also not too stiff and inflexible like normal gloves, I can almost retain all hand motion while wearing them and they're comfortable enough that I can get used to them quickly. Definitely appreciate that. They're hard wearing, but there's a slight issue with the design. They're only leather / hard treated at the palms and underside of the fingers, not along the sides of the fingers or the back hand. The back of your hand is fine but the sides of the fingers presents a pretty big problem - stuff can still penetrate through if you're unlucky or careless.I had a big patch of nettles and brambles to remove for a family friend, and it served as an excellent first trial test for these new gloves, and for the most part they worked well - but after a few moments of use, I felt stinging through the gloves on the sides of my fingers and between them. Also got pricked a few times by the brambles I was removing as well. That's a problem - they're not suitable for aggressively removing problems from your garden, then.Great for general potting about and keeping your hands protected in general from general gardening, bugs other nasties, but shouldn't be used for removing things like stinging nettles and brambles.

Good quality general work glove
I am a landscape gardener and have tried many gloves. These gloves (large in green) after a couple of weeks abuse, with the same amount of mixed fabric washes, have not faltered and still look as good as new. They are light and unrestrictive whilst on and the split cow hide palm and fingers have proven themselves against the narliest of roses thorns (though not the unprotected back of hand) and all other aspects a busy garden landscaping firm can thow at them. My only quiggle being I either need to try a medium or would appreciate a bit more elastic or other adjustable method around the wrist area just to give a little more of a secure fitting. Overall I will be reordering these as my current general work glove 🙂They didn't last as long as expected. I had been washing and naturally drying them.... After a couple of month the leather palms just started to rip and deteriorat. Definitely a decent spring/summer general glove for manual workers. Not slim fitting but comfortable.

Lovely soft gloves, good protection from brambles but won't last forever
I write this review having bought two pairs around a year ago. They were bought to be used in the clearance of a large area of well established bramble and this they achieved admirably. the fingers and palms are a lovely soft leather which protected from all of the brambles but be aware that the sides of the fingers and whole back is a fabric material and so some scratches are likely.Because they have a fabric back they work well in the summer and don't get too hot. Also, they seem to work well in the winter, where I've used them in 1 - 2 degree temperature with no problems (my work rate is much higher when its cold so maybe this explains it)My only concern is that the stitching seems to be a bit weak in places. both pairs have had at least one of the fingers come apart which is a shame because the gloves have held up well in other areas considering the brambles that they have helped remove. The material isn't pulled and the leather is still soft.Overall considering the price I'm happy with the purchase. Although I must admit that I bought some gloves with a better side and back coverage to finish the bramble clearance when the last pair came apart.

Handling prickly hedge cuttings
Exactly what I require to manage the prickly hedge that runs down the side of our house. Require confidence that I can handle the clippings without worrying about whether the thorns will stick through my gloves

Not very good
These are light weight gloves and in my opinion bad value for money but for social distancing they would be being sent back. Bought to replace a pair of Gold Leaf Gents Winter Touch Gardening Gloves which I had owned for five years before I actually wore through two of the fingers. The replacement gloves will not last and the first time I wore them I was stung by nettles through the back of the gloves - not acceptable. Have since located a pair of Gold Leaf Gents Winter Touch Gardening Gloves and they are what I shall be using from now on.

Nice quality
I wanted some lighter weight gloves compared to the thick heavy duty leather ones I had previously, which after many years had given up the ghost and fallen apart. These have done the trick. Thick and strong enough to handle the brambles, but with the better working feel that I was after. Two months in, they're still in decent shape and wearing well.

Comfortable quality gloves
Not the cheapest but good quality. Leather palm and fingers thick but supple and comfortable to wear. Spandex back adds to comfort and keeps hands cool but helps snug fit. Only drawback is if doing job that requires back of hand protection spandex offers very little. Otherwise leather thick and keeps brambles and thorns.Usually wear rigger gloves for gardening and diy but most fall apart quickly and are usually badly cut,ill fitting and uncomfortable insideThese gloves much better for reasons above. Come up a bit small, large would not suit big male hands, fine for teenagers, most women and men with smaller hands. Recommend
