Hermell Products Convoluted Comfort Ring/Cushion, 18-Inch, Plaid Polycotton Cover

This cushion is what I had hoped for. It is soft and comfortable. I am not a heavy person (110 lbs.) and it does not squish down to hit the chair. I thought the plaid colors would be ugly, but it actually goes fine with the seats in my car which are beige. I purchased the 16 inch cushion which is the size that I have had in the past.

The foam tore apart immediately. The cover prevents the product from giving the center an open area that gives relief to the person sitting on it. My husband's leg was amputated and he devoped bed sores and raw areas. I bought this to lift him from contact with the sheets but it tore immediately. I would return it if I could.

Due to back and breathing problems, I sleep in a reclinerr. I had a similar one but the cones started to flatted out and I could not use it to sleep on. This one seems to be much better made and the cover is 100% better than the other one which lasted about a year or so. I may change my mind about this one depending on how long the cones last in an up right position. But it sure looks like it was better made. I also purchased a square one but did have not used it......

This is a good size if you need something to travel with. A lot of the cushions are too large to work with the chairs you find in a lot of restaurants. I also like the navy cover. It would be nice if it had some sort of handle.

It's OK as a buffer but you need 2 for it to work well...I use it on my office chair at home. I can barely feel it & I'm not a heavy person, I'm skinny. My hips aren't wide at all & it's more like a donut than a pillow. I need something thicker. I'm going to a craft store to buy more foam to get more of me off the chair. The case is made well, washes well, etc. I wanted the cushion because it had a cover, once I add more foam it obviously won't fit. Good concept but inexpensively made as most things are these days. Bought this for my mother to use in her wheelchair. She likes it and has this type in all of her sitting chairs, since her body lacks padding.

Hubby loves it for his posterior wounds, a medical condition that has required multiple surgeries. Light weight, flexible, and so far very durable! Other types are sturdier - and also more painful for him to use because they aren't as flexible.
