I have been off and on in the gym since high school and this is my first time using occlusion bands. So far, I can tell you they make a huge difference. You do NOT need to lift heavy while using the bands. I generally use 10-15 pounds when targeting biceps. After my first set of 30 reps, my arms have a slight burn. After my second set, my arms feel like someone lit them on fire. The bands help contain blood in the area being worked when helps generate faster muscle growth. If you're thinking about trying something new, or you want to push your training to another level, I would highly recommend getting this set. Made of great material, easy to use, and for a great price!

I like these straps. They are comfortable and there is no pinching. I like that they are easy to tighten and they stay where you put them. The quality seems decent for the price.I used them for arms the first day I had them and my arms were really pumped with little effort. I used them for legs tonight and felt like my legs were twice as heavy going up stairs, in a good way. Overall, these will be a good addition to my training.The only negative is that the straps just secure to a small loop and they seem to fall out easily. Maybe securing with Velcro would be a nice addition. I just let them dangle so it’s not a huge problem for me.

These were purchased with intended to make bigger gains and not have to use heavier weights in the gym all the time. I like the simplicity of the product and the deal of getting both the bands, arms and legs. It was not difficult to use the bands, however, they did not have anything to secure them in place. On a typical workout, they were adjusted frequent, which was bothersome. The only why to keep them secured was to wrap them twice as hard around the arms or legs then secure them by a knot of some sort. I do use these from time to time in the gym. Also, these were purchased in addition to the BRF bands, a product test between them. Overall, these are a great product but only lack the sturdiness of being secured in place.

I picked these up because of the good price and the apparent ease of use. These served to help my introduction to blood flow restriction (BFR), or occlusion, training as part of my recovery from major orthopedic surgery. These will get the job done though there is some adjustment/re-adjustment to be done getting used to them. They performed the BFR function reasonably well. These have helped me to choose to continue pursuit of BFR training, albeit with a higher quality, and more expensive, BFR cuff.

I have been very hesitant on purchasing and trying out occlusion bands. But I am so glad I ordered them from Viking Strength. I have been using the leg bands and they make leg day 100x better, they give me such a great pump. They are well worth the price because it comes with arm bands and leg bands. The arm bands I have yet to use but I will for sure incorporate them in my next arm day. The bands are super comfortable and are easy to adjust. If you are looking for occlusion bands I would suggest these. :)

There really is no good way to secure the bands. The movable strap that supposed to hold the end of the bands are not tight enough so the bands will come loose after a few reps which is insanely frustrating.If there is a proper way to get the strap to stay secure please post an instructional video because I really can’t get this to work with out the straps dangling as many customers are saying.I do feel the difference when I get lucky and can still get the band tighten, while doing some reps. They just need to figure out or instruct us how to best secure the dangling straps.

Try these out for legs and arms at the end of my workout. It’s a a great pump and burn. Not worry about comfort. quality of the bands are sturdy, strong and durable. The material is strong and tough. They stay in place and don’t shift. As far as the excessOf the strap once tightened down, it can be tucked into the strap. I didn’t purchase these for looks and comfort, I purchased them for the application. I say it’s a must and y will definitely feel it!

We received the Vikingstrenth Occlusion Bands for arms and thighs and they seem to be worth a good rating except for the fact that one of the bands is not a continuous band -- it seems to be two pieces seamed together as it has a seam in it and next to the seam is what looks like whoever made it put a knick in the band right there next to the seam so it is very weak and frays whenever it is put on and the slice is now getting bigger and bigger as it is used. I have attached pictures to show what I mean. It definitely does not have the strength and value that the other band that is one continuous band has. I will hope that I will be able to put in a follow-up review stating that Vikingstrength has rectified the problem. Thanks.UPDATE: When I wrote to Vikingstrength regarding my issue they immediately replied stating that they would refund my money AND send me a new set which arrived immediately within a day. This set was in perfect condition. It was awesome that they rectified the problem. I definitely give them five stars and my husband really appreciates the product. This set works great.
