Super Heroes: My First Dictionary (8) (DC Super Heroes)

My super-hero-obsessed, starting to read pre-schooler LOVES this book, as I'd hoped. We use a bookmark and read a couple of letters worth of pages each night, and come back the next night for more. The pictures and arrows and selection of words are great for beginning readers. Sometimes he brings it in the car and I can hear him in the back looking and reading to himself. Fun way to practice sight words.

I bought this book for my son who is 4. He loves super heroes and this book not only helps him learn about superheroes, but helps him learn new words and increases his vocabulary.

This book made my little guy very happy. It is jam packed with colorful pictures and definitions. It would make a great gift for any young super hero fan (boy or girl).

I've ordered this twice, and the pages were all upside down both times. I'm ordering again since the book itself is so awesome. Hopefully the third time is the charm. 4 stars based on a book with upside down pages. 5 stars if it was corrected.

GREAT BOOK AMAZING I LOVE THE DC COMICS CLASSIC SUPER HEROES ..excellent drawings easy to use and learn , beautiful presentation .... but in the credits of artists wanting JOSE GARCIA LOPEZ..

We love the DC Super Heroes board books by Downtown Bookworks! They use classic art from DC Comics to educate, and our one-year old son loves them! Can't wait to start teaching him words with this!

Our son is Batman obsessed and whilst he likes this some of the superheroes are very obscure and the links between the words and the pictures aren’t obvious sometimes. It’s ok but I wouldn’t buy it again.

My 3 year old daughter loves these books. Age appropriate. This dictionary is really helping with her alphabet and she has started to identify what letter a word starts with by sounding it out. The Superheroes keep her interested.
