OGXReplenishing + Water Balm Leave-In Mask, 6 Ounce

This review is for the 8-in-one spray. I honestly don’t know quite how to rate this spray. I have very fine 2A hair, (I roll it in a scarf to get the curls; it is almost completely straight otherwise), with some bleach damage near the ends, so they get dry and need a lot of moisture, but my scalp tends towards oily. I cowash 2-3x/week with dry shampoo on the roots and oil spray on the ends in between. I was using OGX coconut oil spray for a couple years, but it’s not on Subscribe & Save anymore and I can’t find it in stores where I am, so I’m looking for an alternative.This stuff is not it. I don’t find it moisturizing in the slightest - actually, it’s quite the opposite. I’ve used it four times now. The first time, I sprayed it on dry hair that was badly in need of washing, and it ended up super dry, floofy, and totally unmanageable. I put it in a ponytail and left it alone that day, but I couldn’t help noticing that it had a LOT more body than usual, which is not easy to achieve with my hair. I then sprayed it on mostly the ends after washing, and it turned out ok - again, no extra moisture to speak of, but there was a little more volume, and it looked a little sleeker and healthier than usual. Next sprayed it on dry unwashed hair - again mostly the ends - right before rolling it up in the scarf overnight, and again it added body but no moisture. So last night I sprayed on a lot more, all over, and today my 3rd day unwashed roots did not need any dry shampoo at all. I unrolled, combed, and that was it. You can see in the photo that they don’t look remotely oily, which is very, very unusual - my roots are often oily by the afternoon after washing. You can also see that there are plenty of flyaways, so it’s not exactly smooth, and it feels pretty dry, but it’s bouncier and looks much better than usual on the 3rd day.So I guess I’m sold? If it can reduce or eliminate the need for dry shampoo plus add body, I’m all for it. I’m still going to need something to add a little more moisture to the ends, though.

I usually avoid leave-in conditioners because they tend to weigh down my super fine, straight hair or make it look greasy. I swear by this brand's green tea air dry cream though, so I thought I'd try this one too since my hair can get brittle and dry during winter. Unlike the green tea cream, which I can use liberally with no ill effects, I do have to take care not to overdo it with this stuff if I don't want my locks to look limp. However, I've gotten good results using it in moderation!A little goes a very long way, and I don't even need a full pump to lightly coat my whole head. I simply squeeze a few drops into my palm, work it in from root to tip, brush, and air dry! It's impossible to tell I even have product in my hair unless I use too much by mistake, but the benefits are still noticeable. The cream definitely boosts my hair's moisture and shine. It makes it more manageable, detangles, and even tames my flyaways. It also has a lovely, subtle coconut scent that persists for awhile.I can't speak for other hair types, but I'm so pleased to find a cream that works for my thin and straight hair. Although it's generally a bit cheaper in stores, it's not easy to find in my area, and I felt the price was especially reasonable since one bottle will last a long time. I plan on buying it again!

Has a nice, light scent, does NOT leave my hair 'sticky' after drying, and does not make my hair greasy either.It doesn't take much( I have shoulder blade length hair, and only use it on the very ends)...

At first didn’t know when to apply for best effect but figured it out love it just not enough to spend 12 dollars on it when it was at the 3 dollar mark which for its size seems more realistic price.

My hair falls naturally into long spirals. Ordinary spray gel or mousse gives my curls definition and controls frizz but at the cost of crisp dry texture. Also the weight of most products is simply too much for the length of my hair. I needed a lightweight product for low porosity hair, enter the OGX Water Collection. I tried the whole line and I want it to work but it's just not quite right for me. This product smells delightful. It applies easily and provides a lovely finish that is nondrying and amazingly soft to the touch. If my hair stayed like this all day I'd be a loyal OGX customer for life. Sadly it doesn't last. My curls separate and turn to a fluffy halo of frizzy curly insanity within 4-6 hours. The 8 in 1 spray mist should be the solution to tame flyaways but it's not actually a mist. A quality mister might salvage this product but its nearly unusable in its own spray bottle. If I wanted to drench my hair I'd take another shower. My favorite product in the line is the water cream when worked in after a shower it disappears leaving my normally dry hair soft and manageable. Unfortunately I still need spray gel (or hairspray - yuck!) to provide staying power and keep the frizz away. If you need a lightweight product and your hair is less prone to frizz this might be the product for you.

This is the first time I tried the OGX 8 in 1 spray. I was using another brand but somehow over the last year, they increased their price by over $15 more than the old price. I needed a new product and this was it! Wow, so much nicer than what I was using for half of the price!!! I read some of the reviews and it seems only those with very fine straight hair have trouble. I also have curly hair. My ends were very dry and splitting. This product gives me more shine, curl and the curls hold better. I typically add a touch of curling cream also. Love this product. Even my hairdresser noticed and asked me what I was doing differently because my split ends were clearing up. Five stars from me. It smells nice too. And no, they didn't ask me or pay me write a review. I was just so happy with my results.

If your hair is feeling dry and needs a little moisture boost. A few sprays of this stuff will do the job. I use it as a quick refresher for my hair after the gym, pool or the beach.

No powerful scent and it does the job of keeping my hair moisturized
