Good product, but didn't exactly meet my needs.
This was purchased to strengthen the hands for my grandson. It is marketed for elementary students on the company websites, and it will work very well for that purpose. My grandson is three and a half and it is a little large for his hands. We still use it as a fine motor skill toy as I hold it and he feeds the "frog". He does refuse to feed the bugs since he doesn't want to have them eaten. We feed small bead "food pellets" instead. He does love the bugs and they are great for encouraging his pincer grip.I downgraded it by one star because of a very small defect. One of the dragonflies is not like the rest. For my super-sensitive grandson with sensory issues, this is a BIG DEAL. We spend most of the time we play with this discussing why we can't fix the dragonfly so he is like the others. While this seems picky, it is marketed for children in need of occupational therapy. He is not unusual for that population and a company that caters to that population needs to be aware of the details that would be a problem for them.

The students love the munchy ball
The students love the munchy ball! At first the product is stiff a bit difficult for small hands to open independently, but after it is used awhile they have no problems. This is my second munchy ball purchase.

Good but low on interest
Cute but not much to the as a therapy activity. It involved both hands and works on strengthening which is good, but short on holding a young child's interest.

Awesome
This is an awesome tool for therapists and parents alike. My students loved it in a therapy sense and my daughter and niece just love to play with it in general. Great purchase.

Easy to manipulate
I was hoping it was a little bit harder to squeeze open like a tennis ball but is is way easier to manipulate. I do like how you are able to see the bugs in his tummy.
