Fantastic value
This is great, very easy to setup and streams all the major music services. I got this for Amazon music hd. Also have Tidal and this unit will decode MQA files. I'm very impressed with the sound using its internal dac going through a Denon avr. I use the BluOS app on my phone and it's very easy to use. Very happy

Excellent streaming product
I had deliberated for a long time over buying a streaming product, but I am very happy with the performance and user interface of the Node 2i. It sounds excellent when streaming from Amazon Music HD. Setup was easy, although I did find it easier to set the Wi-Fi up using ethernet connection first. I've also programmed unused buttons on my Marantz remote control for common functions, so there is no need to use my phone all the time.

Excellent piece of kit
Wonderful piece of kit. Easy to use has two way bluetooth for my wireless headphones and streaming from my phone on YouTube music which is about the only streaming service it doesn't support in the app. Very happy with the purchase.

Amazing Device!
Sound quality, app all great. Also just in case if you wondered I have connected to the rear type A USB port my portable HDD ( Toshiba 1TB - NTFS) reads all the formats except APE. Great little box!

Okay as a Tidal streamer but some flaws
Works okay as a Tidal HiFi streamer. The onboard MQA-compatible DAC doesn't produce great sound so I'm using an external (non-MQA) DAC via the units coaxial output. I get much better audio quality this way. I found that the WiFi reception was very weak and it couldn't connect effectively to my router in an adjoining room. Hence, I'm using a Home Plug (Ethernet over mains) which provides a much faster and more stable connection. BluOS, the OS that this unit uses, is quite clunky and takes some getting used to. Support for this product is quite mediocre. My real big issue with the Node 2i is that it never properly goes to 'sleep' when it's not streaming music. The coaxial digital output is held 'live' so my external DAC never goes to sleep either, thinking that there's an incoming digital bitstream even when no music has been played for many hours. This is a ridiculous waste of power! This could be a great product but it's just okay at the moment.

An Excellent Quality Streamer and Superb Value For Money
Superb piece of kit. It works really well with my SME/Luxman/Harbeth system. I find the onboard DAC of quite reasonable quality. Unsurprisingly the sound quality is largely determined by the quality of the inbound signal. When fed a good quality recording the performance is excellent. I only use it with Spotify and control it from my iPhone. Considering that this item costs less than one percent of the value of the system it’s feeding the sound is remarkable. I am not a wiz with computer gear but even I managed to set it up quickly after one false start.

Easy to use - solid reliability
This is my first network streamer - bought primarily because I am trying out Amazon Music HD and moving away from Spotify as a result (Apple products will not play high resolution audio, which was another reason). I am very pleased with it - the user interface is incredibly easy to use and set up was very quick. I am connected optically to a pair of KEF active speakers - the optical connection bypasses the internal DAC of the Node.Amazon HD has to be played within the BlueOS app - no great hardship, but it's not as fluid or as well presented as the Amazon app on an iPhone. The BlueOS desktop app is not great - but it's not a major issue.Overall I am very pleased with this well made and well thought out piece of kit. As I write I am listening to Miles Davis in sumptuous high definition.
