====== To fit your phone ======First you need to unscrew the 6 tiny screws on the front face with the provided tool (you are given extra screws and charger bung just in case). Once the front face is off you can slot your phone into the silicon cushion, remember to align the vibration switch on the side of the phone with the switch on the case so it can activate and deactivate silent mode (it's a little fiddly but make sure you do this or you will have to unscrew the screws and start again. From here tighten the screws back up again and you are away.====== The Good ======To put it simply, this phone case is a beast. The case is made of sturdy metal, it has a metal rim with a silicon edge to absorb bounces, has a grippy silicon back to it and one of the thickest screen protectors I have seen. On the bottom is a handy bung to cover the charger point to stop dust from gathering which is a nice touch. The buttons are a bit blocky but when you press them there is immediate feedback from the phone - I prefer the vibration switch on the case to the phone. On some cases the buttons can feel a little blended in but on this there is a distinct click feeling when pressing them. There is no loss of signal, wifi, 3G/4G, sound quality or accessibility to the phone through the case which is good news.====== The Bad ======With such an amount of protection there are going to be compromises. Unless you have massive hands it will be harder to reach around the phone with one hand and you may find yourself holding it more like a tablet - with the increase in circumference around the phone it is a noticeable increase. You will be lucky if you can get this into a pair of jeans given its size and with it having metal and padding materials it is a lot weightier than before. It is a bulky thing once its on - hell you could probably kill someone with this thing.====== Conclusion ======I'm really happy with this case, having recently smashed my phone screen and then upgraded it I am not taking protection for granted on my new one and this was the kind of thing I'm after. The materials are good and solid, the phone is protected without anything scratching it on the inside and I do feel confident in its abilities. I'm not sure if it is waterproof as there wasn't an air tight seal and the screws are only finger tight and the mic has a mesh covering. I think it would offer a good deal of protection given the iPhone 7 is water resistant - another layer of protection can only be a good thing right? In the packaging there was an email address to get in touch with if there were any problems which is a nice touch. I would recommend this case to others.

Had this case for a few weeks now, as my Griffin Survivor had worn away. That was because the survivor was made of rubber and plastic, and the bits ripped off easily.This is very different, but in a good way. Metal covers a lot of the phone, with rubber edges and back. Dropped this phone a few times and there isn't a scratch on it. It comes with a few spare parts, including a replacement charger port cover and silent button switch, as well as a few spare screws for the front panel. Camera holes only show what it needs to, flash, lens and mic. They couldn't do anymore to this case if they tried. It's still slim enough to fit in my pocket, yet it feels sturdy and strong, and adds a nice weight to the phone. Speakers sound louder through the ports aiming them to your face, rather than the ground. And all the port holes cover everything without any gaps. This isn't waterproof, but I feel safe with using it in heavy rain and snow, and I have done. :)I was unsure with this, as I hadn't heard of the brand, but it's great. One of my best purchases on Amazon.

Working on a mine site, I needed a weatherproof case to protect my phone from dust especially.+ very sturdy+ option to activate mute function+ well built+ easy to install but be weary of the torque applied when screwing (no need to tighten too much)+all ports are well protected+the screen cover appears scratch-proof+no issues with touch sensitivity+the rubber protection at the back and the side-rather heavy (I expected less weight from aluminium)-appears to loose slightly on wifi connection but not on cell phone signal-charging port a too narrow for one of my wide charging cableI have used this product for over a week and am very satisfied with it. Hard wearing case. Very heavy. But still sits fine in my pockets and surprisingly looks great. I've had this a month or two and just dropped it really hard, flat on the floor racing to save the toddler, the glass protective screen ( which can be replaced) has cracked but the phone is intact ( so is the toddler). It's had a few other drops on the corners and is fine. Some piece of rubber has fallen off the bottom where the charging socket is, but I think there's a spare one in the packet. It's hard to put the charger in with the case on, which is why the bit of rubber fell off trying to fiddle around with it, but I manage every time, it's a very tight fit and has to go in dead straight. I'm disappointed that it doesn't come with a headphone adapter as some others do. This should be standard in my opinion as the headphone socket can't be used without one, once the case is on. It's had a few splashes and survived but it's most definitely not waterproof as the speaker on the front is entirely uncovered. The case was very easy to fit initially and came well packaged. There's no loss of sound. The brightness needs to be turned up more than usual else it's very hard to see the screen, but this is simply an advisory not a problem. Overall very pleased, it's certainaly already saved my phone more than once from destruction.
