My cat was scratching all the things she wasn’t supposed to scratch. Conventional methods of stopping this behavior (voice commands, water spray, treats, cat deterrent spray, double sided tape, time outs) did not work. She got the message that the behavior was bad but just did not care. It got to the point where she would look at me and I’d say don’t do it and she would scratch anyway while maintaining eye contact.Enter this collar. I charged it fully before putting it on her. I hit the bell and then the shock when she scratches the recliner. On the 3rd try she heard the noise and stopped immediately. Now the noise is all that is needed. Plus she has not attempted to scratch the recliner again. Only 2 shocks and she is in line.

Love the product but I need. To know if there's replament parts or just separate parts being Sold,I want to buy mor of the collar peice that has the prongs and vibration because I don't want to replace the remote ,or if I wanted to add two more to the remote it self for my other dogs. So where can I find individual parts / prices ?

I have had other Dog Training Collars over the years so I know how to operate them. This unit or at least the one I got works about 1 time in 10. Will be returning.

This device is very similar to the dozens of other dog training collars on here. It has most of the same features: multiple modes of corrections, multiple levels, waterproof, etc. The range on this is adequate at around 1000 feet. Here's the real problem...the collar that is provided is an incredibly cheap and brittle, hard plastic collar. It is not very flexible. It cracks easily. And it won't be long until this crack is a break.Do yourself a favor. Pass on this one and look for one with a woven nylon collar. You will be much happier with your purchase. You are welcome.

The media could not be loaded.  We rescued a pit bull and we love to go camping and on long walks with her. Unfortunately, she was not well trained when we adopted her. The collar has worked very well with her. I like that it has three settings: vibrate, shock, and sound. We use the vibrate and it is like a cell phone vibration, but it is enough to get her to focus on me if we are walking and she sees a squirrel, etc. She has an 18 inch neck and there is still plenty of room on the adjustable collar. I used a much more expensive model (it was around 300 hundred dollars) on another dog and this one works just as well. I am very pleased with the results!

My dogs have been using the Petsafe portable system for years. Over the past year, it has been malfunctioning and if it buzzes, the pit bull runs into the shower floor and shivers because she is scared. We had to remove those collars. So, now I will use this set to redefine their boundaries and when they are inside, we shouldn’t have malfunctions.
