Katadyn Guide PRO Filter Replacement Cartridge

If you still have the old PUR Guide microfilter, because it was far to good to ever throw away, this is the replacement filter for it - not a substitute, but the real deal made by Katadyn in Switzerland. It's actually better than the original in that it now comes with the cleanable filter protector and a small sponge with which to clean it . There even a small tube of silicon lubricant for the O rings. It fit my Guide perfectly. Glad to have it back in service!

This is a great Item! I don't know why Katadyn discontinued The Guide Pro. I have taken this filter into the Frank Church wilderness with 12 boy scouts for a week and this thing Held up like a champ!

Love these filters. I've been camping and backpacking with these filters for decades with great success. I use coffee filters rubber banded over the intake for heavy particulates so looking forward the added prefilter that came with these new filters. Thank you!

works great in my older pre Katadyn PUR brand "Scout" model filter.

Fit our old PUR hiking filter perfectly. I think we have the old guide version. Anyhow I'm thrilled that it is still relatively easy to get this filter because the rest of the system works well.

Purchased as a replacement for my PUR Guide. Replacing the old filter was easy and everything is working just fine. I immediately took it for a 9-day backpacking trip in East Yosemite and have used it for a few shorter trips since then. Has kept me hydrated and healthy.

I had an old Pur Scout that was probably 20 years old and was happy to find out these would fit it. I use one while camping and have another locked away for emergencies.

This filter element is getting harder to find and I'm grateful to get this replacement. The entire filter is excellent with a high flow rate and very reliable function. I assume there is a suitable replacement on the market but I'd rather spend the $45 to replace the element than the $80 for the entire rig.
