I purchased a set of these in gray in May 2019. Last month (6/2020) I was in a bad accident. We were hit in the driver’s side front wheel by someone traveling around 60mph. This belt positioner stayed in place and kept me from getting burns from the seatbelt. My son did not have one of these and he ended up having such a bad friction burn on his neck from his seatbelt that it bled and scabbed. It was really bad.My reason for shopping for these was that I needed to keep the belt from hitting me right in the neck. I worried that it might make me less safe in an accident or compromise the seatbelt “locking” in an impact.However - For me, it worked just as I would have hoped. The seat belt functioned perfectly. But this small piece kept my neck from any injuries besides bruising. My head hit the side window so hard, it shattered the window. So I know the belt would have cut into my neck from the force and direction we were hit with - without this.My car was totaled. I can’t stress enough what a bad accident this was. So I am grateful this worked like it advertised. I am back to get another set and plan to use it on my son’s belt from now on as well.Just remember the lap belt is meant to go across your lap - not across your abdomen. So position accordingly. Your mileage may vary on how it works for you. I am not a car safety expert... not even close. I just wanted to share my actual experience with how these worked when it mattered most.Added photo of my car after the accident, to show the severity of the crash. I’m just a regular person who was grateful these worked the way they should and didn’t hinder the function of the seatbelt when it mattered most.

I wish I had known about this seatbelt adjuster years ago---this has ended having the shoulder seatbelt in my car cutting into my neck while I am driving. You attach It and do not have to remove the adjuster to put the seatbelt on or to get out of the car. I particularly like that this adjuster can be easily moved to any point along the seatbelt while buckled into the car and can slide to fit any size person. I also like that the snaps make it easy to install onto the shoulder harness and I now have one on both front seat shoulder belts. It is very comfortable with it on the shoulder belt, is made of leather making it very durable and it is attractive. I ordered the dark gray since my upholstery and seatbelts are gray. I strongly recommend this seatbelt adjuster to drivers who constantly have to move the shoulder belt to keep it from cutting into their necks. I will have this type of adjuster on all of my future automobiles.

I am a short round person, so my seat belt is always accross my neck. I have to use one hand to hold it down while driving. These adjusters work well. It keeps the belt secure so I can drive comfortably. The only thing I don't like about them is that they don't stay where you put them when not in use. Everytime I get into my truck, I have to reset it. Although I have only had them a couple months, I feel like they will get looser with time and I'm glad it came as a 2 pack. Will definitely buy again when needed.

I was skeptical that this device would allow me to adjust the seatbelt to keep the shoulder belt from rubbing on the side of my neck. This works. It is a little tricky to install. (READ THE INSTURCTIONS & FOLLOW THE ILLISTRATIONS) Once you have it installed it slides out of the way when you don't want to use it.

It does the job of gettting the strap off your neck and stays on. The only downfall would be if it bothers you or not when the part you put it on rides up a little. I'm pregnant and it won't sit comfortably however if i put the whoe strap over the top of my belly like a harness it doesn't bother me at all. My tall husband doesnt like it because obviously he doesn;t need it and i fprget to take it off most of the time and he gets annoyed and takes it off. lol

This handy little gadget helps to avoid the seat belt rubbing up against my neck. I like that I can keep it on my seat belt all the time without removing. My husband didn't even realize it was there because it slides when the seat belt is taken off. When you get back in the car you just slide it where you want it to lay on you..

I purchased these adjusters because I'm on the chubby side and often end up with my seatbelt riding up to my neck, which feels like a choking hazard, and these definitely fix the problem! They aren't perfect, as they do slide in their position a little when you wear your seatbelt for very long, but they also adjust very simply and effectively. It's nice to have something that makes me feel a little safer and more comfortable in my car.
