Perfect for the DIY plasterer
This and the other blades available for the speed skim make plastering feasible for those seeking to do it themselves.

Well made but interchanging parts bit costly.
First time purchasing and wasn’t aware a handle was also required. It now sits in garage as paying same amount for a handle that can be lost is not worth the outlay for me.

Poor quality manufacturing
Having bought a Speedskim with a more rigid blade, I was keen to give this more flexible blade a try. The manufacturing was very poor and especially for the cost. As the photos show, it was left with sticky material on the blade and was very scratched indeed, despite being brand new. In addition, I've had small flecks of plastic left in the plaster, which I suspect is due to the material's softness.

Blade replacement
My original blade had an irritating dent on the edge which marked any wall skimming, so this is to rectify that issue
