Fantastic book!
I adore this book. I care deeply about issues around racism, oppression and anything that hurts/affects the identity of people of color. I highly recommend this book. It is a constant resource for me.

Excellent-informative, thought provoking, yet not overwhelming.
Derald Wing Sue writes this in a way that extends well beyond a college classroom and doesn't leave it at determining and explaining the problems which can lead me to feel so overwhelmed I can't even imagine how to change things. He moves beyond blame, guilt and history into real options for change.

Such an important book, very clear and readable, ...
Such an important book, very clear and readable, incredibly well documented.Perhaps a little less repetition (sometimes going over very similar material in different chapters) could have made a bit more concise? Not a deal breaker.

Much more insightful and rich than I expected
Much more insightful and rich than I expected, even if I don't agree with all the assumption/conclusions and also with some of taxonomy adopted (for example, why use terms such as "microinsult" and microinvalidation" when the base terms "insult" and "invalidation" are good enough to classify the same incidents?). Not a real problem though, it remains an essential read that made me see behavioural dynamics from a different (hopefully better) perspective.

A good book that everyone should read. Get it read it and observe, react, notice people's racial agressions. Never stop learning
