Incorrect product description.
Ordered this hoist and installed in upper storage area of my garage to lift items to upper area. Plugged in unit, nothing. I than looked at manual and discovered that it requires 220v, which I don't have.The item description stated several times that it required 110v electoral supply. Very disappointed as I did spend a good amount of time and money on a sturdy mounting system for this. I still might check into getting the proper supply, but feel that this incorrect information on Amazon should ve corrected.

Not bad for the money
Seems like a pretty well made host for the money. Use it to take the top off my Jeep so far and have other plans. Nice that the control cable is longer than most so works fine with 12 for ceilings.

Hoist lift works really well. Motor is heavy so prepare mounting setup before installation.
The install bolts are metric so if you need longer bolts like I used with a 2x12 board you need to purchase them at hardware store. The bolts are m10x1.5 threads.

I liked the long control cord but I disliked the mounting brackets

Hoist with Safety
The most important need that I had with this little hoist is the built in safety e-stop and cable stop. And the hoist itself works very well.
