Delta Shower Doors SD3172293 Windemere Semi-Frameless Traditional Sliding Shower Door 60in.x70in., Nickel Track

This is a very nice shower door assembly for the money and I can tell that Delta put a lot of thought into providing a quality item. There are two issues with this though.1. The rollers that go over the top of the glass doors is held to the glass doors by ONE screw. The roller bracket and the glass have a pre drilled hole. The hole in the glass and the bracket need to be a little lower in the glass because when installed there is a 1/8th inch gap between the top of the glass door and the inside of the bracket and since there is only one screw installed, this allows the bracket to "rock" to the left and the right depending on which hole you are using for adjusting the door to be square with the frame.The instructions state "do not over tighten the crew to the glass" and i'm assuming because it could break. I had to make a small shim to fit in this small gap between the glass and the metal roller bracket to keep the bracket from rocking left or right.2. There are three positions on the roller brackets that allow you to move the roller wheel in order to adjust the square of the door so it lines up with the frame when closed. The middle and top positions are fine but if you put the roller wheel on the lower hole, the bracket then rubs against the metal when sliding the door open and closed.I needed to use the lower position but had to adjust this a different way since the bracket would rub if you use the lower adjustment hole.Both if these are easy fixes for Delta. I'm surprised that I am the first one to mention this.Other than that, it is a very nice door for the cost.

Installation is actually pretty easy if all goes well. I had some issues. 1) the installation instructions were not included in my packaging. There was a piece of paper saying to call Delta, which I did - during business hours. I got a recording playing on a repeat loop saying to call back during business hours. Amazon sadly does not post the PDF's of product spec sheets and install guides (a pet peeve of mine for items like this). Delta's website no longer has the current version of this product listed. After Googling, I was able to find it on another seller's website. That was frustrating!Installation requires making a square cut on some pretty fat aluminum frame pieces. They recommend a hacksaw and a miter box, which is not a good way to do it. You really need a metal cutting chop saw to make a nice finish-grade cut. If you don't have one of those, expect your end cuts to be a bit rough.I ordered the frosted glass. In the product photographs, you can see through the frosting, such that the soap dish and other features inside the shower are visible. My frosting is actually very thick and you can barely see anything through the glass. I was hoping to be able to see through at least a little bit to highlight some of of the features of the new fancy shower, but with the doors closed, all you see is the frosted glass. I was disappointed by that.Once installed, it is a nice product that works pretty well. The glass is very thick and heavy, which gives it a higher quality feel. Only other thing I would change about it is the height. I'm 6 ft tall and I have to duck when I enter and exit the shower to avoid hitting my head on the top bar. That was expected because the description did say it's 70" tall, but would be nice it would be just a bit higher.

We received our Delta shower doors ahead of schedule! My husband and I are not experienced in installing shower doors, and he does all of the heavy work while I assist. We began constructing as soon the the shipment arrived today - 11 AM, and without taking much of a break we were finished at 4 PM. The instructions were excellent - written and visual. Nothing was damaged or dented or scratched. Even though the vertical was a bit out of plumb, we got the doors to work smoothly. TIP: you can adjust the leveling screws in different hole positions to help the doors close more plumb. We already showered and really do love the doors! I have a squeegee at the ready to help keep the water marks at bay. We installed the doors on a Sterling brand shower kit which we also like. And, we are using a lovely Delta shower system.

We purchased these doors for a walk-in shower. Walls and floor we're square, however, the doors did not fit well. Adjusting the hanging brackets allowed us to lower the doors, but not raise them. When raised, they no longer slid open freely because the rollers at the top rubbed against the hanging bracket. We had to raise one end of the top frame instead and they still don't fit very well. We've caulked, but there's still leakage under one door.Before we began, we had to find the directions online because they were not included in the package.Then, we had to call Delta because the bottom frame gasket was missing. They shipped a replacement overnight.

As my handyman started to install my shower door he noticed the side rail had coating issus. It was too late to stop the install because he had already cut down and fitted the other Frame pieces. So bummed. Hope Delta/ Amazon can give me a good discount for this defective shower door. Make sure to inspect all the pieces before starting the install

It's a nice shower. Good quality, but the picture doesn't show the pale green tint to the glass which may or may not throw off your decor. Additionally, the package arrived missing three parts of the hardware. Thankfully, the contractor who installed the door was able to improvise, but it's still unfortunate especially considering how much the door cost.

The main issue I had with this kit was the placement of the instruction sheet, which wasn't in the location indicated in the *other* set of instructions (the sheet that came with the track kit). It was under the glass doors, which means you have to tear apart the box, take off/break apart the styrofoam packaging, and carefully lift up the doors to get to it. Wish I'd known - I'd have flipped over the box before opening it.
