If I hadn't owned other Bluetooth FM transmitters, I would have thought this was a good unit. However, compared to my old Nulaxy Wireless in-Car Bluetooth FM Transmitter, this unit allows significantly more static to come through. Other smaller issues include one of two USB ports not providing a charge, the buttons not responding as the manual say (tried long presses, short presses, and quick presses), and a screen so dim that it's difficult to read during the day.Suffice to say, there are better choices out there for the money. I can recommend the unit I had before without any hesitation.

I got this receiver because I have an older car. Well it's a 2010, but technology changes at such a rapid pace these days that the bluetooth has become spotty. I noticed that my streaming would go in and out and sometimes disconnect. I bought this in the hopes that it would pair with my Samsung Note 8 without any issues.So I first found a FM channel that had the least amount of static. I then changed the tuner on the receiver to that channel. It connected just fine. I then paired my Note 8 via bluetooth. I admit that it did take me a few tries before it connected, however but after that it has had a solid and stable connection.Streaming has been fine and is stable. I consider the sound quality the same as if I was using my old bluetooth in the car. The display is nice, bright, and aesthetically pleasing.The only downside I have for this unit is the hands-free calling. I tried making a few calls and each caller stated that I sounded "distant". I would think this is because I have the unit plugged a down in the lower middle console area and that's where the mic is I suppose. They said they could still hear me, but I rather just plug in a headset with a mic.Overall good if you want to stream music via bluetooth in your car, but just be aware that the hands-free option is not the best.

I've owned a few transmitters. This one has been the worst so far. It looks nice but with Bluetooth connection the sound quality is bad. Using aux connection with this product sounds much better but that defeats the purpose.This has the looks of a $20 item but the sound quality of a $5 item.There are better ones out there for $15.
