The SharkBite Max 1/2 x 3/8 Inch Compression Angle Stop Valve is an outstanding product! I recently used it for a plumbing project, and it exceeded my expectations. The push-to-connect design made installation incredibly easy, even for someone who isn't a professional plumber. It worked seamlessly with various pipe types, including PEX and copper, which adds to its versatility.The quarter-turn mechanism operates smoothly and provides reliable control over water flow. Work wonderfully, don't have to have crimping tool or compression fitting stuff or like the old days of sweating copper with a torch. Too pricey to do a major project, but when you have a few to put in, worth every penny. Most recent project used two on PEX tubing. Cut tubing with cutter, mark correct depth and debur the PEX and slide it in. Too easy! Works on copper pipe also, and I have used SharkBite fittings on copper pipes with equal ease!

Works as advertised. The biggest benefit was easy installation, beginner to professional and good product quality!

We couldn't install an RO system with the standard water supply that came with the house because the hose was permanently attached. This water supply was easy to install and allowed us to install the adapter for the diversion line to the RO system.Everything is still perfect after 4yrs, no leaks or problems of any kind. Very Happy!

The media could not be loaded. Easy to use. SharkBite quality (that's good), SharkBite price (they are expensive). You wouldn't want to do a lot of plumbing with these because of the price but they are great if you are in a hurry or it's an emergency.

I needed to replace 8 old plastic valves in my house, and it was a lot of work - but only because the old ones were terrible to remove and the pipes needed to be sanded. But ones the pipes were ready, these fit perfectly and there is no leaking at all. I'm glad I chose these.For simplifying installation, I attached the faucet hose first so that I wasn't tugging and twisting on this valve to attach the hose, and then I pushed the valve onto the pipe. I also found I needed to twist the valve closed and open again to loosen it up - it's pretty stuck when it arrives.

After I finally got the old valve removed and prepared the pipe, I pushed this new valve on and it clicked into place. It was so easy, I was sure I couldn't have done it right and expected a massive water leak when I turned the water back on, but... not a drop! Very impressed

So long story short, I removed the brass compression ring with an extreme amount of effort and while I was doing this, the copper pipe was shrinking, due to being compressed. So when I went to put a normal 5/8 OD on after the removal, it didn't fit and just slid on and off the pipe. I ordered this in desperation because my water has been off since I had an open pipe and it was too late at night to call plumber to solder on a new pipe. I popped this on in 5 secs and turned the water back on to check for leaks while testing the open and closing of the valve. It is perfection. Saved me so much money and time. There are little teeth grooves on the inside so I can see why this won't be coming off. I am not certain how the no leaking works but I don't even care at this point. Words cannot express how grateful I am. I will only ever buy these going forward. Amazon also did an amazing job by having this delivered at 740am in the morning when I ordered it just before midnight. Thank you...thank you..thank you.
