Great for Outdoor Music Festival
Got these for a 2 day outdoor music festival in rainy weather, knowing it would be muddy and gross. My feet were indestructible, I could walk thru anything like a tank, love these boots.Maybe best of all, theyre comfortable to wear for long periods and to dance your ass off. 5/5

Good General Work Boots
So... while I may have been looking for a Steel Toe or Hardened Plastic Toe, this pair of boots does pretty well on keeping me comfortable during hard work days. They STAY on my feet. They've a decent durability, and the leather keeps things OUT. And I put these boots through HELL and back in my workplaces, excepting that I NEVER let anything heavy LAND on my toes. Again, these are SOFT TOED BOOTS, not Steel Toed or otherwise.Heel support is middling, as a person with bad knees, I've had to stand for hours at a time, and these don't have "superb" heel support, but they do give a fair amount... although they also don't give very much in the way of arch support. As for Ease of Use... well, you'll have to be careful, because getting into and out of them is a mixed bag, as once you've tightened the strings and knotted them, they are NOT coming off. After a long day, or lengthy work between breaks, when you want them OFF, they are a PAIN to get off, for some reason this is always my left foot that gets stuck at the ankle trying to pull it off...If you're in a similar field of work like I am, working either construction or some such, these may not be the best, and they make your feet sweat like hell, no matter the sock type, and i've got several different sock types, of which you'll want LONG socks, at least 3/4ths up your shin length, before putting these boots on, to keep from chaffing your shins, heels, and all. When moving around, these boots do give you some decent support, and protect your feet nicely, and they don't feel bad after walking around for hours. Experience: Spent a few shifts walking around for five hours at a time, and didn't get any foot pain from them.If these last another two years or more, I'll be pleased with the money I spent on these boots.TIP: if you're in the South, or an area that gets a LOT of sunlight and heat? GET THE BEIGE OR LIGHTER COLORS. NEVER wear black on those hot summer days!

Some of the best boots you will ever own
These shoes have the durability of military grade equipment while at the same time having the comfort of your best hiking shoes on the market, but with a price that is absolutely unbeatable

Soles aren't very durable.
I like the quality of the exterior, but after only 6 weeks, the soles have several rips at the bottom just from walking in a construction zone. Soles need to be more durable. A nail went through straight to my foot!

Really great quality, for a really low price.
I am a UPS driver. I walk 20,000 to 25,000 steps per day. It is really hard to find shoes that can survive the abuse my job puts on them. I recently decided to switch from normal walking shoes to boots because I have bad ankles.I am always scared to spend too much on shoes, because I have never found any shoe, at any price, that lasted more than six months. The last pair of boots I had were twice the price of these ones, and the entire sole peeled off after 3 weeks, but these had good reviews, and were very reasonably priced, so I decided to give them a go. (The dark brown ones).Straight out of the box they were probably the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. I thought I was going to have to break them in for a while, but that was no problem. Also, the ankle support is superb. After a month, or two, each shoe started to show a small gap between the sole and the shoe near the ball of my foot. But I put a tiny bit of shoe glue in there, and it hasn't been a problem again.Right now, I have been wearing them every day for 3 months (or at least 1.3 Million steps), and they seem like they will probably make it another 3, at least. That's probably about as much as you can reasonably ask for boots that were under $70.One other note: they are supposed to be waterproof, but I haven't really had a chance to test that out here through the bone-dry, Salt Lake City summer months. But if they last into the winter, I will give an update on that.Update: The total durability wound up being about 7-8 months, or about 3 million steps. And, even at seven months they were still waterproof. They could have probably gone another month even, but the soles were getting pretty thin, and I decided to get a new pair for winter.I ended up getting the dark black this time, which seems to hold up better in terms of appearance. They were not as comfortable, out of the box, as the dark brown ones were, but still pretty comfortable, and broke in quickly. Also, whereas the brown ones seemed very breathable, and cool; the black ones seem to be much warmer, so they work out better for the cold weather, and snow.
