I bought a previous CD which was remastered and did not like it. Then I bought this and it is the original which I wanted.

Excellent music

I liked the recording of Tubular Bells and it arrived sooner than expected. By coincidence I had just watched a television programme about the actual recording which explained a few things, including the sound of this set of tubular bells from their playing and positioning. They were played on this recording using an ordinary claw hammer (which made them louder) and they were also positioned much more prominently than in a normal symphony orchestra.

This was an excellent second hand buy for my mum. She used to like this when it came out on vinyl all those years ago!!! We were both thrilled that Amazon could find a cd version at such a low price. Definitely a good buy!!

Have waited a few days and have played the cd (really good) BUT no copy of album on my Prime Music Account Not very good I bought it from Amazon to be able to access on all equipment and Not Happy.
