I've been looking for some nice looking, easy to use, light and wide enough vacuum sealer. After spending so much time I finally found this one and I wasn't disappointed at all. Quite the opposite:1. It's nice looking - even after a few weeks of constant use it stays the same.2. Easy to use - The machine operates at a push of the button, couldn't be easier.3. Light - The sealer is compact enough for us to store it in our (already pretty busy) and is light enough to move it around once needed.4. Wide - our old sealer wasn't simply wide enough so we had to use more bags to store the food. With this one we're saving on the bags as we can store more food in it.I have been using it for 8 months, it's really a great little device, removing the air completely and it's much quieter then the old one we had at home. Doesn't do any crinkles and seals each bag properly. I've had this thing for about a year now, and I use it extensively. The only thing that I've had to find a workaround for is when you seal the end of the bag before you fill and vacuum it. There is not as much pressure on it and it sometimes doesn't seal. This can be alleviated by holding some downward pressure in the center of the bag sealing area so that it gets a good, wide seal. Once I figured that out, it has been great. I expect that that's a problem with any of these that do the wide bags, as the latches are at the edges and the plastic lid flexes.

So far, this machine has not only helped me to get bulk foods taken care of, but also made extra space in the freezer. Even though the extra plastic on the side of the bags take up space, it still helps create more. Bagged items like frozen vegetables, potato products, and sausage patties that usually take up space but sorted into serving sizes for our family and vacuum sealing them, has made it easier for anyone in the family to help with cooking. I purchase rice in bulk and I was able to put directions for cooking on folded sheets, in with the cooking size for the rice.

Just received my Weoola food sealer. Went by the other reviews on Amazon after doing research on food sealers. We're no heavy users, just seniors that like to seal food for the freezer. Plugged it in, put my strip steak in one of the bags, laid it on the sealer and PERFECT. What an easy machine to use. The seal was really very tight and it didn't take long at all. Sealed 5 steaks for the freezer. If this continues to work this way I'll recommend it to anyone. Some said it was noisy. Well, maybe a bit, but how long do you have to listen to it???? So far, so good. Trust it uses Foodsaver bags since I have some of them from our son. Oh, and a great price....

Product works satisfactorily so far. Used canister attachment and sealed 3 bags. This item was on sale and I used Amazon reward points so paid just over 35.00. I can update after item is used more. The directions do however indicate only their bags can be used. I have a number of "food saver" bags so I shall see how those will work. This unit is lightweight and stores well.

It was easy to use. I have learned that it helps to do a double seal, though. It just takes a few seconds to put the bag back into the machine and hit it again with a seal about a half inch from the one that the machine makes after it vacuums the bag of air. I love the bags of French green beans at Costco, but my family is a family of one, and I cannot use all of them before they go bad. Much easier to use this machine and throw them in the freezer for another time.

This works better than the foodsaver that it replaced. I used it to package venison and it sealed all packages nice and tight with no freezer burn over a month later. I knocked the value down one star because it lacks a bag cutter like the one on the foodsaver. You have to use scissors to trim the bags to length.

This is a really great device! I have been wanting one for a while, but was not sure how I felt about plastic waste. I realized my food waste is just as big a problem and finally purchased one.This is really easy to use. It is small, easy to store in kitchen. Today , we sealed bags of fresh garlic in small batches for later use.This comes with bags of different sizes , but they can be cut to seal smaller items.
