Literal game changer for mites FOR REAL
The Robicomb has been a literal life saver, game changer ā I could not even tell you how much this thing has helped me feel better when it comes to these tiny little clowns(bird and rodent mites) that I can't blow dry all the way out of my hair sometimes? For someone like myself with MCAS, it also genuinely saves me having to take so many antihistamines from the bites I would be getting.I think there are a few down sides to it, though nothing major! The Robicomb is a little hard to get the hang of initially, but trust me, do not give up! It just takes a little practice and getting used to as it's not the exact same as a traditional lice comb. It does work, like 100%, it's a literal game changer and allowed me to sleep.Something else I realized is that the noise could definitely scare a smaller child with lice. It's already a pretty stressful time in my mind, so that in and of itself struck me as something that could be worthwhile to mention. Another thing is, when the comb finally does 'zap', it does make a very pronounced 'zapping' noise, so I feel as though parents who may be using this comb on their child's hair may want to explain this to them BEFORE using the product so it doesn't potentially freak them out in an already awful situation? The last thing is, you can sometimes accidentally 'zap' yourself. It's comparable to what I would say is those old-school prank toys where you shake someone's hand and you get zapped ā just a bit stronger. However, it does sting a fair bit when you do for around 15-25 seconds. I would say make sure to take care in communicating with your child about this if you're planning on using this for lice removal, and to thoroughly read the instructions because you do not want to nearly use the Robicomb⢠on wet hair like myself! As a final note: the Robicomb actually works incredibly well on fleas and mites for cats. Complete and utter gold star actually, because I was actually just messing around, but the Robicomb did not come to play with those bugs. Took them out and beat them up!I cannot give this little tool enough credit, and I'll probably buy a couple more just to use for my cat, and for my family, too! Totally a nifty invention, and I'm thrilled to have found something like it!

Used by someone else before being sent to me!!!š¤®š”
š”This Robicomb has obviously been used by someone prior to it being shipped out to me. I didnāt even open package. You can see inside the packaging the lice that have come off the comb and is on the item and on the inside of clear window on packaging. Thatās just disgusting and infuriating as I desperately needed to be able to use it! š” I know these things happen and Iām usually okay with minor hiccups but this kind of thing is a āwhen you need it, you need it!ā This is super inconvenient and frustrating.Images provided. Itās soooo obvious! Idk why quality control would not have caught this on someone elseās return. ā¹ļø

Best lice killer!
This comb is amazing! I was not aware of what lice looked like or what nits were until my kindergartener had a full blown outbreak in her hair. Which meant that she had also passed it along to one of her siblings and me. I purchased the over the counter lice treatment and ordered a robicomb despite the mixed reviews. The over the counter treatment did not work and I was finding live lice on the comb. I put a movie on the iPad for my daughter, put on a headlamp and picked through her hair pulling out every nit and louse I could find. Two movies later I was pretty confident that I had gotten them all.I was wrong! The robicomb arrived the next day. I started to comb through my daughterās hair and it immediately stopped humming. I slowly pulled the comb all the way through her hair and looked at the comb. Sure enough there was the tiniest louse dead on the comb teeth. I couldnāt believe how tiny the nymph was. There was no way I could spot those tiny nymphs that blended in with her hair color. I spent over 2 hours combing through sections of hair and the comb killed at least 20 nymphs and 2 adult lice that I had missed the day before. The next day the comb killed a few more nymphs and after day 3 there were no more bugs to kill. I continued to use the comb for 14 days and we were lice free.We now use the robicomb for prevention of lice outbreaks. We use it weekly whenever the kids have school and then daily when lice is going around. Last year the robicomb caught a bug on my daughters hair after the neighbors informed us of lice and then it also caught two bugs on my sons hair after he was wrestling with a boy who ended up having lice as well. Since we got the robicomb we have not had to deal with a lice outbreak or nits.A few things to note about the comb:1. Iām not sure if it kills nits. Those little eggs are so tiny that they slip right through the comb teeth. The comb didnāt stop humming when I would comb a hair strand with a nit so I wasnāt confident that it zapped them. Pick them out as you comb through the hair.2. The comb needs to be used on dry hair. Even a slightly sweaty head will keep the comb from working properly.3. If you have curly hair, itās best to wash your hair and let it dry without hair products. The comb is sensitive and any product build up or dandruff will cause the comb to falsely indicate bugs in your hair.4. Make sure you use the comb for the entire 14 days if you find any signs of lice so that you kill any hatched nits.5. I have owned this comb for 2 years and it still works. However, from the beginning I sometimes had issues with the humming sound not turning on right away or it would make a high pitched tone. I would just hit the comb against my palm and it would go back to making its usual humming sound. Also, make sure you regularly clean the comb with the included brush to keep it working properly.6. If you find any bugs, let people know who came in close contact with you or your kids. Lice are gross but suck it up and help prevent spreading it through an entire school or camp.
