These have been so reliable and work so good, I have installed them all over the house. I must have about 20. The only thing we don't love about them is that the way to use them is not very intuitive. You'll get the hang of it. We've learned to sort of fist bump them with your knuckles on the way out the door and it works reliably. But what are the people that visit your home going to do? Probably stare at it. Or push it and it won't work the first time until they press a bit harder. That is not a great experience. It drove my wife nuts for a while, but she got over it. That being said. These are $15 per switch or less when on sale and they are reliable and other than the nit I just explained, they work great. I say buy these until somebody makes true rocker-style smart wifi switches. I think that is what we all want, it's just nobody has it ..... yet.Finally, save yourself the long term risk and near term hassle and hire yourself a real electrician to install these and forget about installing these yourselves or a handyman. Did you know if you leave some of the copper exposed and not pushed all the way into the wiring hole, your switch could be arcing and overheating inside your wall and you'll have no idea? That has happened to me and that isn't the product's fault, it's poor installation and if I could given one nugget of wisdom to the guy that comes after me, it would be, forget about trying to save a buck on installation by hiring handymen or by doing it yourself. Get yourself an experienced electrician that will give you a good price by doing work on the side or use Amazon installation services and just be prepared for that cost. It seems like the market is about $30/switch (notice that is double your product cost .... you don't want to have to pay this twice and three times). If you can find an actual experienced and conscientious electrician (the kind that will re-wire the other switches (the entire box) when he was not asked to when he finds your other switches weren't wired well at risk of not being paid for it), hire that guy and keep hiring that guy for all your switches and when he gives you his low price take care of him and pay him what he really deserves. IMHO, unless you really are already some electrical genius, that's the moral of my story and that's what you want to do.

Love these, once I got them working.The Lead line and the Load line, in the instructions, were backwards from my switches that were already installed, so once I got that figure out, we were good. Tapping into the neutral, and the ground was simple enough, especially since these come with wire nuts and pre-stripped, 5” long wires for each switch. Was able to piggy back the lines to get one hooked to my ceiling fan, and the other to my fan light. Added the third switch to my kitchen pendant lights and the fourth for my outside can lights, which the app let me set to come on/off, at sunrise and sunset.Now the tricky part was when I was syncing them to my Wi-Fi. I held the button down for a few seconds, waited for the fast blinking Wi-Fi icon, then I’d hold my finger on the light switch again for about 10 seconds, till it would turn off, and then the Wi-Fi light would blink slower — that’s when I’d open their Smart Life app, discover device, but instead of search, I’d use AP mode, holding my phone or iPad, (I used both throughout the day) right next to the switch. Then Following the directions, click next, and it would take me to my Settings, I’d open my WiFi until I saw the Smart 028X signal, click on it, the go back to the app, it would then spin for about 15 seconds, then sync. It then allows you to name the switch, and put it in a “Family” (Group) if you want.THEN, open the Alexa app, click the menu, click Skills, search Smart Life, enter your username and password, and boom. It’s now in your Alexa app.However, if you have multiple users using Alexa, and you’re like my house where my girlfriend bought the Echo Show, and I paid for the Echo Dots in the house, you’ll need to perform the previous paragraph steps on the other persons Phone as well, but Menu>Skills>Search>Smart Life>Login but with the same username and password that you made your original Smart Life app account with. To reiterate, use the same smart life app user name and password login on each Amazon Alexa app device. Meaning on each iPhone or iPad or android device , use the same Smart Life login within everyone’s Amazon Alexa app, otherwise, they will never show up on each person’s Alexa app device. Also, make sure you are putting all of these switches onto your 2.4ghz network. They don’t work on 5GHZ
