Quick, easy to install and does the job well
After viewing some YouTube videos for installing the kit (I definitely recommend this first) installing it took less than 30 minutes. The wire could be longer as it only just reached (order a longer wire if in doubt). Now up and running and I don't have to remember to switch the dashcam on each time I get into the car as it comes on automatically. I'd highly recommend this kit - much cheaper than going to Halfords to get one installed and does the job well.

Good kit
Bought to use with the old shark dash cam.Easy to install came with all the fittings need.One thing you will need in a crimping tool if you are using the fuse splitter which is the best way.Just check the car manual for a 12 volt ignition fuse there's usually a fuse box behind glove box, take fuse out put in to splitter put splitter back in to fuse slot job done.

Very good bit of kit.
Works well with my 1080p dashcam.Was a breeze to install in my van as everything is very accessible.I actually needed a standard size fuse piggyback adapter but this came with a mini, my fault for not reading, still, it did fit and work okay nontheless. Not a lot else to say really, very good.

Decent kit but no guide and no auto cut off
Came with no instructions. But seems like a decent kitEdit.I've been away for 5 days so I havent used my car. When I went to start it it wouldnt start as the battery was dead. This product did not auto cut off at 11v. The product is still good but dont leave your car for more than 3 or 4 days unless you have a starter pack!

No instructions
Product arrived well packaged. I know they are no rocket science to install but some instructions would have been of benefit.I installed it onto the radio fuse as it only comes on when the ignition is on.Once installed it frees up the socket in the car.

yes works great
I was able to install it myself and it works as described. I have chosen to piggyback a... telephone fuse. This line gets off when you remove key and on when you put it back so camera works when I desired.

Cable length shorter than described
Too short, had to extend to get to work. One comment prior to buying was that it was ‘lon’ when it is, if you are lucky, 2m long which is useless in a BMW
