Great quick start guide for iPhone Development
I had an idea for an iPhone app but as a C/C++ developer I just needed a little help getting started. This book was great and just what I needed. Started simple with step-by-step instructions on getting the development environment up and running with sample projects. I’m not all the way through yet, but I skimmed a bit and found a chapter on machine learning at the end that I’m excited to play around with. Between this and StackOverflow I should have everything I need to bring my idea to life! Recommended for anyone looking to get a start in iPhone development.

Good easy reference to refresh existing knowledge.
Good for reviewing what you already know. Touches on lots of subjects for your own further exploration elsewhere. Do not buy if you are not a beginner. Good into to Swift. I have over 15 in easy steps books. This one will be part of my learning - until I outgrow it. Maybe in 4 months, then I will have to get more advanced. Does touch upon online databases, core data and other subjects that you will need to make serious apps. But not anything that you could not watch a YouTube video on.Buy this as a supplement to other books for quick reference. Recommend for beginners.
