As far as I can tell, this is the best case/hard shell for the Ally X. It’s solid, the stand holds fast, and the hard shell protects the screen, triggers, and the sticks and even fits over my silicon stick toppers. You can even use the skull & co. Back button caps with the case on. This specific combo has made the Ally X as perfect a handheld as I could hope.Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this grip/case! It’s more affordable than some competitors while delivering an almost identical experience. This is the first grip I’ve used on a handheld that doubles as a case (with the protective cover), and I feel completely confident tossing it into a backpack or leaving it out, knowing my device is fully protected.One feature I particularly appreciate is the hardshell protective case’s raised design over the joysticks, which prevents damage. That’s always been my biggest concern with soft cases and even some hard cases. The grip feels great in the hands, fits snugly around the ROG Ally, and the adjustable kickstand is a fantastic bonus. It’s been incredibly useful for propping up the device on my bed during installs and updates.Overall, this is a 5-star product!

I just purchased the Ally X and couldn’t find a case. This product is a two in one solution. Provides protection for your device while traveling AND works as an every day bumper case. It was easy to install, not too bulky, and can be gripped without trouble. My hands are pretty small, and I’ve no trouble utilizing my device with this case on.

Okay Jsaux did good with this one. The grip of the case is rugged/non-slippery and is the kind of material that doesn't catch lint/weird fuzz. The hard shell cover is very effective at protecting the triggers, joysticks, screen, etc and even has a nice felt backing for against the screen area. You can tell a lot of thoughtful design went into this. Highly recommend

The case went on pretty easily. I love how it feels to hold. The bulk it adds to the bottom of the handhold area makes it easier to hold the Ally X. I can play for longer, with more comfort. And the kickstand is great. It adds just enough bulk to the bottom that it may not find into some docks. The top seems to not fit as well as I'd prefer along the top, but it doesn't bother me too much and it hasn't disturbed the screen protector.

Same as the kill switch but half the price.If you're deciding between the kill switch and this, buy it, it’s the same thing for exception of the grip (kill switch does have better grip).Even though half the price?, it’s a no brainer.Now don’t get me wrong this has plenty grip and is very comfortable, used it many times for traveling and everything works perfect.
