Wentronic 50777-GB 2.0m SCART Plug to 3.5mm Stereo Plug and S-VHS Plug Audio Video Cable

At last - a SCART-to-S-Video cable that works!It gives a colour image via the S-Video 4-pin connector, and AUDIO via the jack plug.Having tried other SCART adapters and various leads, was going to give up, but bought this lead and it works fine.I have this connected to an (old-ish, though still useful) Canon 650i via it's S-Video port (front) and it's AV jackplug (side cover - not the MIC port!).(Canon 650i has FireWire link to PC with Adobe Premier or similar, so allowing VHS to be converted to MPG4, FLV, DVD or whatever).You could also consider the many USB adapters to perform the same conversion task.(Note: "S-Video + AV-sound" is supposedly much better than the TV-aerial type connections)Just got to find the time now, to convert all the VHS tapes!!!
