Amazon Basics Tool Bag, 30.5 cm, Grey,silver

I bought this bag but it was a bit small for what I wanted, i should have got the bigger one, so I've ordered another. Anyway enough about me. The tool bag is fabulous, it is big enough for your tool kit and it is very well made, it has a detachable carry handle. It is a fabulous bag, and a good price. I will definitely find a use for it. Highly recommended.

I bought this as a replacement for a CK toolbag. The CK bag was a good bag but did not survive a scratching attack by my two cats. The zips were too fine and one side panel was the victim. The amazon bag was a similar construction, but used pockets rather than elastic straps to hold tools, the zips were bigger and more robust. I tansferred the tools with space to spare. The amazon bag was lighter, and has more capacity, the fabric and zips seem very robust. very good value.

This is a nice sturdy little bag.I actually bought it for my Raspberry Pi/400 set-up and for that it works very well. I mostly chose it for budget durability (all the cheap messenger bags had quality issues), and because it was the right size.It certainly seems sturdy and durable, and it stands up on its own and opens up nicely, which are actually both very practical benefits for my usage.Closing it requires at least 2 hands, and could probably be improved, but I'm happy enough.The pockets are pretty loose with no elasticated tops. Not a problem on the inside, although it would have been nice. On the outside though I'd only use the single flapped velcro pocket. Same for the external fabric rings which also have no elastication. If you were using it for a tool bag, your screw drivers might stay in place around the house (and your tape measure in a mesh pocket), but I'd expect to find some of them rattling around in the boot if you chuck it in your car. A bit of elastication would have helped, and made them more useful for small accessories, or tools.EDIT: I bought 4 more for actual tools, and in turns out the fabric loops work great for screw drivers. The internal pockets are useful for heat wrap and gluesticks, solder, etc. but too shallow and lose to retain tools. The outer webbing ones are fine for bulkier items that fit snugly or soft items like a small ball of string, gloves, or mask. Just don't expect them to stay in place if it's thrown around.

Over the 45 years of my working life, I have had a few tool bags from shoulder bags to briefcase tool bags. All have their positive's and negatives. My last bag I purchased to just carry the few tools and meters that I now need to do my job. The problem with the shoulder bag is slowly the tools get jumbled up in the bottom of the bag and then I have to tip it out and rearrange.This bag as more room than I will ever need. There are two zip sides both with tiered pockets. The main bag has enough space for a drill, spare battery and charger , test meter, box of Fuses and a lot more.Zips are heavy duty and the bag material is very strong.

Excellent tough little tool bag. Just bought a mains Dewalt Orbital Sander and needed somewhere to store it. Didn't need another Tstak box so thought I'd try this bag... Does the job a treat with room to spare

Just the Job. Looked at quite a few before choosing this one. It is robust and well made. Totally perfect to keep all our most used items together and protected in the shed. we recently bought a new drill which has 2 batteries which came boxed but no bag with it. These fit perfectly in the Amazon basics tool bag, along with numerous other items, spare drill bits , screwdrivers , hammer etc. .plenty of space and pockets inside and out. The main compartment opens wide too which makes looking for things so easy. There is nothing basic about it and so glad we got this one. Great value too. Highly recommend.

Size is what's advertised to be fair, and will fit say a fully folded and collapsed glue gun (cartridge/ sealant) but I do get the feeling looking at it it's real a heavy duty handbag and not a huge one at that. This may or may not be a deal breaker for you, but it'll certainly hold small tools

Holds all the tools I need to take when away with the caravan, good price and well made.
