Not sure if it was supposed to but it did not come with a remote control.that's not a problem they are very easy to operate the chamber where the batteries go is very easy to open and close and seems like it's seals very good and is waterproof.they look really nice in my lanterns on my patio and I have enclosed photographs of them inside. Hope the batteries will last a long time I will keep track and repost when they run out.seems like they will hold up they are hard plastic not wax like so many other ones that you buy in the store the first set that I bought not off of Amazon but at a store melted and these are perfect. They came super fast and was packaged and the instructions were very easy.to use the timer function all you have to do is when you went to turn them on move the black button to the on position that starts the timer on label stay on for 6 hours then go off for 18

I purchased 3 of these to replace ones that stopped working We used them all summer long, and never had to change the batteries. Went on when we set them, stayed on for 6 hours, then off for 18 hours. It's been over 5 months and all 3 are still working, through heat, and rain and wind. Great product.

This was my first time buying an artificial candle so I had some doubts, but I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve seen some other brands around I wasn’t too impressed with but with this one I really liked, one of my neighbors even complimented me on it. It looks higher quality, has realistic qualities and seems to work well. I can turn it on and off with a switch, or turn it on and the timer will turn it off eventually too if I forget so I don’t run the batteries down. I like how it’s indoor/outdoor too so I can use it outside in my candle lantern and I don’t have to bring it in when it rains.

I purchased this last July to put on a small table on our front garden patio. It was out there from the time I received it through the end of October, through multiple rain and wind storms and never failed to go on and off with timer! I brought into the house at that point, replaced the batteries and it has been going on every night since then. So, I am back to purchase more for this summer season! Excellent product, in my opinion.

I used these candles in lanterns outdoors. Their 6-hour on/12 hour off is perfect for my purposes and the battery life has been excellent. I am reordering these for gifts.

I use this in a lantern outside. Since it has a timer, it goes on at dark and stays on for several hours. Looks so nice in the lantern.

I use them on my front porch and they look great! So easy to set the timer and no worries! Up close they look fake but I have them in lanterns and you can’t tell the difference. They cost three times as much at Pier 1. I am very happy with them.
