I didnt think this would work as well as the metal toothed ones but sure enough it does a great job. I figured it must since its a Kent but one never knows really.

I have owned this cleaning tool since my first Kent brush gift. Since then, I have maintained the brush with regular cleaning. It is simple and easy to use, easy to clean, and durable. I figure the cost is a small price to pay for the natural hair brush looking almost new.

Sometimes a comb is not effective in removing hair from a brush. I have detangling pegs mixed with boar bristles in my brush and this works great. It's also inexpensive. 5 stars.

This item is listed as a "Hair Brush Cleaner, and Hair Brush Rake." The ", and" in "Hair Brush Cleaner, and Hair Brush Rake..." led me to believe that I would receive two items, a hairbrush cleaner and also a hairbrush rake. I wanted a brush cleaner to use when I wash my hairbrush with warm water and a little detergent. I also would like to have a separate rake style tool to remove accumulated hair from a dry brush. The ". and" led me to believe that two items were being described.This product does remove hair from a dry brush better than a comb but still not all of it. It works very well to thoroughly clean my hairbrush in warm water with detergent.I would not have paid the stated list price of $17.95 for this item but did purchase it for $9.95, 45% off list. It will be worth that provided that it lasts which remains to be seen. I will still look for a rake style tool to clear hair from my dry hairbrush which will make keeping my hairbrush clean and fresh more costly than expected.

Kent hairbrushes are investments. I've bought a couple of them over the years and even though they are a bit pricey compared to the average brush, you are paying for quality that last for years.Since you have such a great personal grooming item that you've invested in, buying this cleaner should be a no-brainer for you. I picked this up for six bucks and it has done wonders in helping me clean the accumulated hairs and debris out of the bristles of my Kent brushes.You get simple instructions on the back of the package that this comes in, showing you the suggested way to remove the unwanted hairs from your brushes. I've followed the instructions and it works well. The first time that I used this on my brush, I removed a rather surprising amount of loose hairs and debris. After about five minutes of using the cleaner, my Kent brush looked about as good as the day I bought it. After spending another five minutes, it did look as good as the day I bought it.Post cleaning, the brush felt like it went a bit more smoothly through my hair, but your mileage may vary. My brush started pretty dirty before I cleaned it out.I've done maintenance cleanings every few weeks to keep the brush in top shape and I have zero complaints about the ease of use and the durability of the cleaner.For the price, you should pick this up to keep your Kent brush in great shape. The brush will last you many many years, so you might as well have those years be as clean as possible.Highest Recommendation

Cleans any bristle and the bottom of the brush easy and throughly

I've been using Kent MG2 Boar's Bristle Military Brush and 9T Comb for my beard and hair, but I noticed that I need to have brush and comb cleaner for detailed cleaning. So, I bought Kent LPC2 Hairbrush Cleaner on Amazon.As I used Kent LPC2 Hairbrush Cleaner on Kent MG2 Boar's Bristle Military Brush, it removed lots of dust, dead scalp cells, and hairs extraordinary well. Although it's mainly for cleaning hairbrushes, it works brilliantly with Kent 9T Comb too.I highly recommend this cleaning brush if you want to clean your boar's bristle brush and combs thoroughly :)

Well, I did not. Sure, at times I would use a comb to thin out the hairs stuck in the brush, and called that good. But my curiosity became aroused when I saw this come up and thought - Ha, why not try this? I did not think it would work better than a comb.Except, it does. Much better, in fact. I even washed the bristles using shampoo in some water. Shallow so the wooden handle does not get wet. I admit there is one or two stray hairs in the bristles but it removes most very easily, and would likely get them all eventually. If you use a brush you need this tool.
