The dual precision feature is a game changer—I love using the small precision platform for measuring salts and baking powder with incredible accuracy.It’s versatile, easy to use, and perfect for both larger ingredients and tiny measurements. The display is easy to read, and the interface is very intuitive—I didn’t even need to look at the directions. The build quality is excellent, feeling sturdy and well-made.While it’s a bit larger in size, that’s to be expected with two scales in one, and it’s a fair trade-off for the added functionality. A fantastic tool for any baker who values precision in their recipes.

I have been searching for a food scale for several months before selecting the Bomata dual platform kitchen scale.I primarily use it to weigh food items so I can track my nutrition amounts (protein, salt, carbs) more accurately on the App I use because estimating a deck of cards just wasn’t giving me the results I needed. Now I have started using the scale to weight recipe ingredients, so again, I can accurately track my nutrition.The scale platforms are easy to clean with a food safe spray on a paper towel, and then rinse by wiping with a damp paper towel, then drying. I either use a small sheet of wax paper on the platform or a bowl or plate. That’s where the “tare” function comes in handy by taking the scale back to zero, so you only see the weight of the ingredient on the scale.I love that I can see different weight units, like grams, fluid or pound ounces, milk milliliters, but it also weighs in kilograms, tl on the large platform.The small platform weight units are in ounces, grams, gn (old unit of measure for grains), dwt (pennyweight part of the troy weight system), ozt (Troy ounces), tl (Tetra liter, volume unit), and ct (Carat). (*Note: I searched the internet for definitions of the weight units in parentheses.)I am so pleased to find this handy scale and use it every day!

The media could not be loaded. The scale is generally very good and well made. The materials are fine, and having two scales in one is a very good idea, but sometimes the weight is altered without having any element on top, as shown in the video.In general is a good scale, but this could lead to measure errors.

It looked like a great idea. Two scales for multiple purposes. But it didn't work. I read the instructions. Instructions say it comes calibrated (and you may have to calibrate it :) ). 1. The weight giggled - went back and forth then settled down but I don't know how accurately. I got it for accuracy. It isn't. 2. The seller was fine. I contacted him/her and was told not to recalibrate it but I did because it wasn't accurate. So between that and the giggly numbers (grams), I returned it.

If you’re reading this and was going to use it for weighing your dog food, buy it now. The scale quality is great right out of the box. You have an add the sum of both scales. Very useful for supplements for you 4 legged friend. Both scales can work independently without fuss. The left scale is large enough for dog bowls. Not all dog bowls are the same. Small are really wide so please check the measurements of this scale before purchase.Like above, this is also a great scale for cooking. This goes down to 0.XX so it is very precise. I don’t have any calibration weights with me so I can’t comment on the accuracy. This however is more than accurate enough for me and my four legged companion.

Good value for the price. I like that I can weigh items in grams, kg, oz or lbs. There are two scales in one unit: a larger scale that I use to measure heavier items like flour. And a smaller scale that can measure just a few grams at a time - I use that to measure yeast and salt. It's easy to turn on and off, tare and decently accurate for my purposes of home cooking and baking.
