Emma Barclay Damask Rose Table Cloth 70 x 108" Blue

I am reviewing this white table cloth based on one exactly the same that I purchased 2 years ago, which is still going strong. However, throwing another table cloth away, I needed a second one to cover for washing. For me re-purchasing this table cloth was a no-brainer.This is a lovely white damask style table cloth and it will give elegance to any table. It looks very expensive for the money.No, it is not a cotton table cloth, it is 100% polyester. It does not feel like plastic, nor does it look like plastic. It does have a little "sheen" only on parts of it, but that is where the damask pattern is woven in. The sheen is unoffending and for the most part will be covered by place mats, coasters, crockery, etc.The edges are scalloped, not hemmed, but they are well finished and they do not fray during use or washing.The table cloth is not thin or see-through. We have a table protector underneath, but even if we didn't, you wouldn't be able to see the dark wood table through it.We use this table cloth nearly all the time even though we have a number of 100% cotton table cloths as this table cloth is more practical.The advantages of this table cloth are:-- the damask pattern looks clean and fresh and pleasing to the eye- it washes well.- it appears to be stain resistant to spillages that would ordinarily ruin a 100% cotton table cloth. No harsh cleaners or chemicals are required, the stains just disappear in the wash - it dries extremely quickly.- it is easy-care and requires no ironing.There really is nothing not to like about this table cloth. For the money you can't go far wrong.

I haven't used the tablecloth yet. Just received. Disappointed to see the quality of the scallop edging which was frayed and poorly cut out. Also disappointing to see daylight through it because it's very thin. I always use placemats so it will do just to give background colour. Not recommended. Cheap product at cheap price

Good value for money

This came next day on Xmas eve which was great. Looks nice. Quite thin and edges are a bit rough and will probably fray when washed but cheap enough to just chuck away afterwards.

Ordered oval tablecloth before Christmas but a rectangular cloth was delivered. Contacted the seller who asked for photos of label, etc. They then got back to me, apologised and said I could keep the rectangular cloth and they would dispatch another oval one. True to their word, an oval cloth was delivered at new year. Tablecloth is fine, customer service was excellent.
