Works as expected. Good picture, quality, relatively easy to set up. Good build quality, materials feel like they’re pretty high-quality. I appreciate that it’s quite small and discreet. It hides on the desk quite well, and doesn’t take up a lot of space, which is definitely a plus

Item did not work as advertised! Was supposed to extend up to three monitors, and instead it caused 3 monitors to register as a single, second monitor, and duplicated the same display on all 3! Additionally, despite specs in the listing, it requires a power source for the splitter, which uses a USB cable. No mention as to what voltage needed, and even plugging it into a USB port on the laptop causes the screens to flicker and cut in and out, randomly. Definitely would NOT recommend!

This cable has handled every demanding connection I have thrown at it. None of my screens have big resolutions, but some of them do have high refresh rates. I do have cables that wimp-out at those rates, and this one does not.Pros:Excellent build quality and materials.Feels very durable.No signal loss or degradation—as far as I am able to tell.Cons:Too short. But I could have thought about it harder and bought a longer one. That's on me.This is a good solid cable. Well worth the price.Just be sure to get one that's the right length.

I didn't read that this was display port, and so I've had to get hdmi to display port adapters and cords. But even with me doing all of that, this splitter works great. It was super easy to install once I had all the correct cables.It works perfectly for what I wanted it to do.

Too wide for a HP mini. I need 2 side by side and they fit but are slightly angled. It’s literally like a millimeter.

Just to be on the safe side, I would like to remind you that a DP (display port) connector is different from an HDMI connector. They both do the same job, although DP is better for computer monitors because, in addition to FreeSync, it supports VRR and G-Sync. The older monitors have HDMI connection plugs but no DP connection plug.The Switchflux splitter is solidly built with a metal casing and a braided connector. At 1 ft., the connector is barely long enough not to hang from the back of the computer. This is a powered splitter, useful to prevent signal degradation, especially if you are running long wires. The power cable is rather short, so you probably need a longer one. Even if you use it only as a male-to-female connector, you still need to power on the splitter.I got this splitter only because I wanted to compare the performance of two monitors, and for that it worked perfectly.
