Sturdy, High quality materials, comfortable to use, I love it!
My son who is a missionary in a remote place where he does not have access to a computer and only uses a smartphone, wanted a bluetooth keyboard that he could use to type emails and other things like that. I searched through so many descriptions of different keyboards and finally settled on this one. Before sending it to him directly though, I got one for myself to see if it would be a good fit for him.Oh, my gosh! I am in love with it! It makes typing text messages, and other things that I usually struggle with on a phone, so much easier. It seems to be super high quality materials, and the engineering of how it folds and works is fantastic. Hats off to the developers.Pros: Smaller than my phone, it's easy to carry along. The keys are weighted to feel like keys on a regular keyboard. Pairs easily. Types great in all the applications I've tried it with, ie, Word, Notepad, 365, texting, emails. The little phone stand is adjustable and sits firmly on a flat surface, holding the phone at any angle I need.Cons: The keyboard is a little smaller, about 1.5", than a full-sized keyboard, but I play the piano, so I use the same techniques of curved finger positions and it doesn't bother me at all. My husband, who has a tremor, can't use it though. It's too small for him. Also, I think I will have to be careful with the phone stand. It may be a bit more fragile than the keyboard, but I still love it.Also, I do wish the on/off switch had an automatic off for if I forget to turn it off, but that's so insignificant that I still rate it 5 stars. If it continues to work well, this rating will stand. If it fails in the next year, I'll change my review.

New life for my old technology
I have been traveling with my 2017 iPad Pro and Apple Smart Keyboard instead of my laptop, but the iPad and keyboard recently "unfriended" one another. I don’t know which is at fault, but the obvious and least expensive solution was a Bluetooth keyboard. This new folding keyboard was easy to set up, and works perfectly with my iPad as well as my phone. So maybe I could even leave the iPad at home. A function key combination switches it between paired devices, which is cool. The new keyboard is small and light, but not flimsy. The keys are protected by folding, just right for travel. It is pleasant to type on. I have big hands and they do not feel any more cramped than on the Apple keyboard. The two things I didn’t immediately like were that if I type with it on my lap it wants to fold, (so I reposition it over one leg) and if my hands are sloppy the bottom hinge rubs my right thumb (so I correct my hand posture to lift my wrists, as I was originally taught). The little fold-flat stand that comes with the keyboard is angle-adjustable, supports the ipad with its case, and the design is ingenious. So I'm very happy with this purchase, which is saving me a lot of money by prolonging the life of my iPad.

Excellent purchase
I’m in love with ProtoArc, they have cool peripherals at very accessible prices. This is the second foldable keyboard I buy because people were impressed by mine so this will be a gift. I like that it folds and pretty much takes no space. It’s really just plug and play, you turn it on and connect. It’s made out of plastic so you can see why it’s priced the way it is.Something I think it’s missing on this keyboard is the ability to instantly turn on and off upon opening or closing the keyboard. This feature is available in the trackpad version which is the one I use but this keyboard doesn’t have that unfortunately.

Great quality in a small package
Great device. Well engineered and thought out. Highly recommended.I purchased this item to take with me on travel, so I can use my phone as a computer. The device paired up with my android perfectly. I opened OneNote and began typing away. I think this device hits the sweet spot between size/portability and usability. My hands are somewhat larger but they do not feel constricted on this device. The keys feel solid and well engineered. There is enough spring in them and they don't feel overly cheap and plastic-y. All the keys are there except for Print Screen, Scroll Lock, Pause/Break and Insert. I think having a Screen Capture shortcut would be nice.A couple of minor knocks: There is no included case. And there is no way to keep the keyboard and foldable stand together. For the price, that's no big deal. I can certainly hunt around the house for a substitute. They have other products available that DO come with a case that holds both keyboard and stand. So check out their other products is this is a concern to you.If you are getting this to just use it with your phone, I think it is a slam dunk. If you are going to use it with your tablet or laptop, I'd get another one of their slightly larger products.

a 3/3.5 if you do need to use the escape key 4/4.5 if you don't
While you can use the escape key on this keyboard it is only accessible through a shortcut. I find this unacceptable for gaming or even just workflows where you have built the habit. Otherwise, the build quality, connectivity options (memory for 3 connections), backlight, and feel as your typing are beyond satisfactory. Really only using the function keys/esc is the only bad thing about this keyboard. If you don't need these things on a daily basis I think the value is there.
