I’ve never had an advent calendar before, and this was my first one—how fun is it to treat your skin with luxury skincare every day for a month!These ampoules are incredible, though I might be biased since I already love this German brand. Each ampoule comes in a small glass vial, which initially intimidated me. I’d never opened one before, and the thought of it made me nervous. Fortunately, this set includes a small plastic cap that you slide onto the vial's top to break it open. Still, I had to use a little face towel to ensure I didn’t accidentally cut myself. The broken glass top would fall off the plastic cap. The first time, it dropped onto my bathroom tile floor, and I had to carefully pick up tiny glass shards—a mistake I made sure not to repeat.Now, onto the ampoules themselves! Each day offers a new surprise, with different formulas designed to complement one another. Some ampoules are repeated, but every single one is effective. I’m not exaggerating when I say my skin visibly glows immediately after using them. They’re all soothing, non-irritating, and leave my skin looking luminous.One vial contains more product than I needed for a single use, even when applied generously to my face and neck. After the first day, I started using half the vial at night and saving the other half for the next morning by sealing it in plastic food wrap. This made the experience even more worthwhile, extending the benefits over two applications per ampoule.The price is on the higher side, but it’s comparable to the cost of a facial—or even less! Considering you get a month-long, luxurious skincare treatment, it’s absolutely worth it.I thoroughly enjoyed these ampoules and recommend them as a fantastic skincare treat. I own other Babor products, and love this brand. This advent calendar appealed to me because I got the chance to sample ampoules I couldn’t afford to try at full size. This calendar includes 24 vials of serums, and one plastic ampoule opener. Days 1-4 are Hydra Plus, day 5 is an algae vitalizer, day 6-8 are active night, day 9 is multi vitamin, days 10-12 are Perfect Glow, days 13-18 are 3D firming, and days 19-24 are Lift Express. I found that I only needed to use 1/2 of the ampoule at a time, so I ended up making this last longer than the 24 days. I loved the little plastic ampoule opener, as it takes the scary away from breaking a glass bottle. This truly feels like luxury, and my skin has never looked better. I did not experience any negative issues with any of the ampoules, which is great as I have sensitive, dry skin.

This skincare calendar of 24 days of face pampering is so luxurious. I love everything about it except for the calendar numbering is all over the place. I understand that looking for the day is part of "experience" but it became kind of annoying after the 2nd day. First, I forget where I'm at. 2ndly, for my old eyes, I have to find my reading glasses to look for the gold numbers that hardly is visible. They should rebrand this as "Skincare Advent Treasure Hunt." As for the ampoules... oh my, I love it. Each ampoule has a generous amount. So generous that I actually only use half of each ampoule, so I actually have enough for a 2nd run of the calendar. Yay! I have always known that you should never use the same skincare every day. This calendar brings it to a whole new level. After 24 days of this skincare journey, my 50-year-old dry sensitive skin looks amazing! It's soft and dewy and no blemishes. I wish Babor would sell full size of these individual ampoules. This is a great gift for those (men and women) who love skincare. I have always loved Babor skincare line and this calendar ampoules do not disappoint. This is definitely a splurge buy but it is so worth it. This brand and products are made in Germany.
