Inkclub Compatible Refill Ink Bottle for Canon Printer (Black, Cyan, Yellow, Magenta) -100ml x 4(400ml)

The printer will start making a fuzz long before it runs out of ink, mine started telling me to order new carts before it was high way over. It is easier to pry off the top by using a knife or small flat screwdriver to pry off the cover and to look inside at the sponges to see the ink levels, I was surprised to see more than half full carts when the printer software was telling me I had run out of ink, Th sponge is white when it runs out of ink. You do have to be careful about contaminating other colors. It only takes 2ml of color ink to fill it and 5ml of black to fill those carts, even filling it 2ml made it over flow and this was after it said I ran out of ink. Make sure you fill it before the ink runs out, as empty carts are easier to damage and ink might not flow again without some work. Since they do not want you to get much use of these carts the printer makes all kinds of error messages. Especially if it thinks you printed more than you are supposed to have printed at like 300+ pages when it starts to yell bloody murder. Although the cart box says color is 13ml and black is 15ml of ink, I was unable to put in even half that much without over flowing and leaking. DO NOT touch any of the copper contacts or print head and make sure they are clean and no ink is anywhere there. Use the original plastic packing cover the ink carts came in to seat it properly before filling as if the print head touches anything, ink will drip. Dropping ink at the top wont fill the sponges properly, you need a needle to fill it from the bottom on up through the sponge and when you start to see air bubbles, go very slow as it is almost filled and then drain some ink off the top of the sponges, as when you put the top cartridge cover back it presses the sponges and there would be ink over flow otherwise. Stick a small tape to hold the top cover onto the print cart and you need it that way to stick it back inside the printer and hold it there.. Now the printer will make a lot of fuzz about bad cart and other things etc and the yellow color/black lights will keep on blinking saying empty carts but it will print just fine.. Press the Stop button for 5 seconds so it ignores the error conditions. Then print again to check the quality and maybe even do a cleaning cycle which just wastes some ink. The print quality looks very similar to original. But printing on a transparency sheet showed the originals were far better there while this one bleeds even before the sheet it out of the printer. So the ink they use here is much lighter to make sure it flows easier and dont clog the print head. Which also means the prints will run and wont last as much as the OEM carts. But for a tenth of the price what do you expect? The printer tests page says how many full pages you have printed.

I bought this ink after going through the reviews. However after first refill I find print quality kind of all right if we want general household print out (kids school work). But if you want fine print then its not the product. Quality of print is 3/4 shade lighter than normal print (out from original cartridge). However my main concern, print leaving mark on back side of page. This suggest the ink is bloating. I'm using finest quality of paper from canon and earlier I dint get this print mark at back side of the page.Considering my concern, I want to try so.e other ink in the market if I see same issue than I will move back Inkclub ink.Over all it's ok kind of ink and definitely save you pocket. Per page print will cost you less than 10 pairs.

Black color ink got dried very easily. Need to improve quality.

superb product.it is realy aswome in this price.when I planing to purchase I dont know how to refill it.to be frank I buy this product as a trail and already plan to buy a new cartridge.when I got this ink I just go to an electrical shop and buy a small drill then I watched video from youtube abt to how to refill ink cartridge .then I buy 4 syringe and I filled the ink cartridge following that video.after that I try to print photos ...wow it is an aswome result it works like a champ.I only use 2ml of ink from each bottle.I think with this product we can save more money than buying a new cartridge.I think I can refill more than 30 times with this ink .realy aswome .and thanx amazon for timely delivery .just buy guys allone will love this product

This one does its job, but the toner dries up very fast, even if you sealed the injection hole with utmost care. So you need to keep refilling at frequent intervals- which is quite annoying- especially the black ink is not so concentrated, so does not give original quality black prints and makes you refill every couple of weeks, whether you used printer in that duration or not.

They are cheap and will do the work. But I would recommend you to buy original ink to increase the life of your printer. I rarely use color prints so I bought this for color printing and I use only the original black ink for my printer.
