Fast and easy
Okay - I hardly write any product reviews as like all of us I'm busy. Yet I buy alot off Amazon. Why am I writing this? I was fed up with the family moaning about unreliable wifi in the house. I'd spent endless hours with wifi powerline adapters which frankly have been great and definitely have their place. However I personally found I ended up with my router and 3 adapters, one wired to the kids PS4. Coverage was ok but seemed unreliable with multiple devices wanting more data. The ones I had were also not dual band. So time to upgrade. I'm a fanatical researcher and will look at multiple website reviews from pros and amateurs alike. After hours of endless research I plumped for these units. One of the most expensive I know.Delivered on time today and great quality feel but that didn't fool me, the proof is in the pudding so to speak.I was worried about the other reviews of poor and slow App and resetting and difficult to set up - don't we all look at the negative reviews? No worries - the App is fine and the set up easy, just be patient (as some of the other reviews say!) tech needs time to configure and connect. I was patient, it only takes a couple of minutes, a few more to update firmware.Within an hour all 3 units are unpacked, plugged in and working. I live in a 5 bed 3 level house with double plasterboard ceilings, thick floors and solid doors, but still went for the 3 pack units as I wanted to be sure of coverage.I'm running 2 PC's Ps4, laptop, 4 phones, 3 HD Tv's and recently upgraded to a claimed 400 MBps service. The attached photo speaks for itself. The best I could get before was 200MBps on the main PC. I can now get 368!I've also walked outside and on 2.4GHz I get to the end of my Culdesac before I drop one bar of signal (about 40m).This is only afternoon one but I am so impressed I've written this review. I probably think going for all 3 units was overkill as 2 units were about £120 cheaper but I appear to have superb wifi all over my road!Hopefully this will be as reliable as it has performed this afternoon. You get what you pay for. Hope this helps others.

Works extremely well - in the end.
The package arrived exactly when forecast and the contents were well packed. It took approximately three hours to have the three boxes speaking to each other and connected not only to the usual suspects, computers, iPads etc , but also to Hue, Naim MusoQ and, rather to my surprise, by ethernet cable to an Airport express (wireless off) which then plays through my hifi via optical cable. I also confirm that Apple's `Time Machine" is connected via the ethernet port and is recognised.I was tempted to knock a star off for a number of false starts (find paperclip, reset, start again, repeat) due to the glacial speed of the App. and some problems with getting the ethernet to speak to my Virgin Modem. However, it works, very well now, so in the end I stick to five. It is certainly a big advance on the CPL/Netgear kit I had before.BTW I chose it over the Ubiquiti because the ethernet ports are available where I wanted them (not just by the modem entry point).Edit on 20 June: Following a succession of warnings received by email and by post from Virgin Media about my internet connection in the following form:"Your home devices could be at riskWe're writing to let you know that a device connected to your home network has been identified as having a potential Multicast DNS vulnerability.Multicast DNS is commonly used to share music and video streaming services between devices on your home network. Multy was then switched to Bridge Mode.I hope that is the end of the messages from Virgin.

Avoid.
Progressively poorer software and WiFi performance with each firmware update. It’s become almost impossible to use.Possibly doing something for Chinese authorities?

Nice kit, but you cant change the WiFi channel !! and no Wired back-hall option !!
I bought this as the reviews looked really good. But soon found it was useless for me as you cant select a different wifi channel and it wanted to sit on Ch 44 @ 5ghz the same as both my neighbors meaning I was lucky to get 80 - 100mb. The wireless back hall speeds look really good @ around 600 mb/s but again the actual connection to the devises was vastly impaired due to sitting on a the same Chanel as other WiFi. They look nice and are well made, I think if you lived in a detached house in the country and didn't want to run cables then they are probably a very good option.Disappointing that they dont support wires backhall as an option.I returned these and bought Lynksys Vellop AC6600 which both allows you to change the channel and use wired back-hall and my speeds to the devises jumped to my max internet connection speeds of 380mb/s pritty much every where in my house and the garden.

Expensive but probably worth it in the long run. Good product
Only had a few hours but already noticed speed has improved and also WiFi coverage around the house. App is good which you use to set up. Set up very easy. Only improvement is that zyxel could improve the information on how many nodes are needed. I am in a 3 floor detached 5 bed house. I went for 3 pack. Actually 2 would be enough. On box (not web) it says 2 pack for up to 5000sqft which would be sufficient for me. I considered Linksys, Orbi also. Orbit market leader. Reviews put Orbi above zyxel in performance but read more negatives from consumers on orbi hence I went with the next best

Wer konnte hier seinen Netzwerkdrucker ohne Probleme ins Netz bekommen?Ansonsten geht das ganze Set zurück.

Good product, more setup choices needed
Good value for money, didn't have issues setting up, and the connection seems to be stable. I would have expected more options in setting them like choice to setup IP address/network, ability to log via web. WPA preshared key doesn't allow certain special characters. All in all, I'm pleased with the acquisition.
