I'd been using a black foam mouse pad for years, and realized it was looking quite dilapidated. I accidentally stumbled on this leather one, when searching for a replacement. This pad is beautifully made and comfortable on your hand/wrist, just love it!

I have a fancy steel-clad desk and using my optical/laser mouse wears the patina down. So I use a mouse pad. Ugh! As acceptable and utilitarian as $2 rubber mats with nice designs are, they're still kinda cheap-o. This Maruse Italian Leather mouse pad is not only posh and sexy, it is far better as a mouse pad! The traction is more noticeable, which I like. The dimensions allow it to be used in two distinct orientations. And the padding gives it a little substance with a very nice, comfy feel. Since it's real leather (even smells nice), I expect the usual wear and tear to only give this mouse pad more character! I know most reviews focus on value, but I'm not that guy: I just want nice things :)Well done!

It's a very nice luxury item. If you order 2 or more you can tell they're really handmade from the minor differences across them.It's not one big chunk of leather, but rather a cushy layer of leather stitched to something like a rubber pad on the top.It's nice. No issues using apple magic mouse on it.

A stylish and nicely constructed mouse pad. Worth the money.Update 11/24/2018: My family and I have now used this mouse pad for two weeks. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well--our mouse doesn't glide and it's hard to maneuver across the pad, resulting in jerky, uncontrolled motions. While the pad is very attractive and well-made, it simply does not work well as a mouse pad. I previously owned a leather pad which worked very well and which we liked so much that we sought to buy another one. This pad simply doesn't work for us and, consequently, I had to return it. We're very disappointed.

I wanted a more distinctive mouse pad and found this to be the most stylish of the ones I researched. Absolutely first class quality - the leather is smooth and construction is flawless. Although a bit pricey for a mouse pad it adds some class to my desktop. I chose the Honey/Tan color and it has held up well although I managed to get a spot of something on it that darkened that area a bit but it faded and the color is now uniform w/o any blotchiness. I then treated the leather w/some conditioner to protect and seal the surface to minimize this from happening again.
