I finally decided to spend a little extra and get a better hose reel. I am so glad that I did. The Aquazilla hose reel is easy to use and makes retracting and extending the hose really easy and quick. It is very sturdy and looks great on my deck. I highly recommend the Aquazilla.

Sturdy, attractive, good quality hose reel. I like how easy it is to reel the hose back in. With the side to side guide, the hose evenly rolls onto the spool.

I’ve really enjoyed this hole reel. I used to have a plastic one from Home Depot. I’d like to say that that one was “cheap” but, for the money, it wasn’t too cheap. For a bit more, I got this one thinking it was sturdier and may last longer. I think that will be true. It’s all metal. It’s so much easier to reel the water hose back in when I’m done watering. Can use one hand. For sturdiness and ease of use, this item is worth the extra cost. It’s been nice to have. In addition, it looks great in the backyard. The plastic ones….do not.

I love everything about the sturdy, good-looking metal cabinet and hose reel. Quality made and all the hook ups are sturdy metal so it can securely hold and wind heavy duty hoses without springing a leak, kinking, or getting stuck while winding. Unfortunately, the leader hose is not as well made. Immediately leaked upon connection. I know it was the hose because I bought a quality replacement and it connected without any leaks. Wish I could get a partial refund for the defective hose. Don’t want to bother with returning the whole thing for the hose.

A bit expensive compared to similar products, but you get what you pay for. Very sturdy unit that stays put when you pull the hose out. Smooth operation when cranking the hose in and/or pulling it out. I've used many similar, less expensive hose reels with plastic housing and this one seems far superior. Appearance is also quite good and should go with a wide range of yard aesthetics.I have a 100 foot heavy duty 5/8" hose in mine and it handles it easily.One caveat: the leader hose that comes with the unit is a bit of a joke. Unless you are putting this right next to a spigot, you are going to want to buy a different leader hose. Just be aware that the leader hose is has dual female connectors, so be sure to get the right one.

Hose reel arrived and looked nice and sturdy, however I got about half of my hose wound onto it when something snapped and the spool got all wobbly. Three screws had fallen (broken) off of the spool. Disappointed that it broke before first use. Too bad as I liked the appearance of it.

Well made, ball bearing wind up, real easy to wind in, worth the money. Had to add two 3’ metal posts to the back to keep it from moving when winding in 150’ of hose.
