This masks worked great for me for spraying a chlorine based product in a crawl space. It seals up really well and is easy to use. The filters that are included are not rated for acid gas so I purchased some from Amazon that were and fit perfectly. It did not fog up on me.

Okay - I am not into painting or mixing chemicals. I did a DIY in a bathroom and the first round was without a mask and that was BRUTAL. I found this and it made a huge difference. The chemicals were still potent so Im not entirely sure if it was the right one for the job. It did help a lot and I was happy I got it.

I purchased this equipment primarily because of its relatively low price in comparison to other full face masks. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of its constriction and its adaptability to various head sizes. It allows a very wide clear field of view and a large area of protection. It does not fog up as quickly or as much as safety goggles I have used and offers great airborne particulate protection, although I did change the filters to the little M3 pancake style, as I found the supplied filters too bulky and they could cause some additional neck strain after prolonged wearing. The strap tightening and release mechanisms are simple and easy to use, however with work gloves on and facial hair, you may find yourself tugging on your beard and not the release :) , but that is just a small niggle in the grand scheme of things. All in all, I do think this is a good alternative to some of the more pricey 'quick release' models offered.

This is a professional grade mask and I recommend it to anyone wishing to protect themselves from inhaled toxins.

I bought this "gas mask" because I had to drain a car gas tank, and it claimed to protect against gas fumes. This "respirator" came in a plain white box with no markings, in a shipping bag. There were no instructions whatsoever! I literally had to guess how to assemble this "safety" device which I could do only because I am familiar with these strap-on devices. Only the filter elements have specifications printed on the plastic envelopes which you would have to work for OSHA to understand. There are no specs or statement of uses, or warnings of any kind on the mask itself. The seal is, at best, poor, hard and painful to my Caucasian big nose face, if it is made tight enough to seal. The sealing flaps are bent so far in that they don't seal without excessive pressure and that hurts. The hard plastic face frame has no give or flexibility. WARNING! THIS DEVICE DOES NOT FILTER OUT GASOLINE FUMES! This I found out the hard way, though the words "gasoline fumes" are not specifically mentioned anywhere. Although, on the site, this device is supposed to be gas rated for various nonspecific paint, chemical and resin vapors and even radioactive vapors! all of which are more volatile than gasoline. The filter specs also say they are rated for organic vapors. Gasoline vapors ARE organic vapors! Look it up! Because of the poor, painful, seal, and the obviously inadequate filter elements for this purpose, and because it proports to be a "safety" "gas mask" device sold to the general public, I rate this: GROSSLY MISREPRESENTED! I wish someone had warned me, the way I am warning you, BEFORE I bought it let alone used it! There are other reviewers who say it does not block paint fumes either! and that the seal is painful, so it isn't just me. If I wanted a dust mask, I would have bought an n95 which I have plenty of.

Very happy with it It's a lot nicer than the old one I had breathing is better and I had seen drywall and it was like amazing at no coughing or breathing problems at all it really filtered better than the old ones did happy with it
