The library is wanting to encourage our students to use reusable containers for water and drinks and help reduce plastic waste in the environment. These straw toppers are a great way for those students who use tumblers with straws to keep their beverage fresh and limit the possibility of an accident with spilled items. We even had a few students take a straw topper to put on their pens and markers. I like that these are made of silicone. The variety of plants, animals, and objects makes using them fun for our students.
