The spirit of St. Louis de Montfort.
This book is valuable in that it gives a comprehensive sketch of the Saint's life and also the spirit of his devotion to Our Lady. To implement this spirit in one's daily life is to truly be Our Lady's slave. And she will help us!

Quick & Easy to read with depth of substance
This is the best book to donate for our Church book/pamphlet rack. I have put a dozen or more there, most I bought from the publisher, but I have found Amazon.com a better source. This is one of my favorite Saints and Mary Fabyan Windeatt did a wonderful job reducing his story and keeping the weightiest material for those looking for spiritual development; they will absorb enough information to guide them into the books by St. Louis de Montfort that they will love. This saint created a lot of written material that was saved by his closest followers in a trunk well protected from the elements and buried during the French revolution. His followers died and knowledge of the hidden material died with them. Many years later the material was found and returned to his living followers. We do not have this much material by many of our Saints. I pray purchasers of this book get an extra copy for their parish book rack.

The Story of Our Lady's Slave
This semi-biography of St. Louis de Montfort is written in moving prose. The book should appeal to teens and adults alike. St. Louis's example shows us how to truly honor Our Blessed Mother by becoming a slave to Jesus through Mary.
