The description is wrong, this is not splitter
The description is extermenly=] confusingI just tested with a multimeter it doesn't "split" anything, this is just a repeater, it sends the same stereo signal to both output. Basically it copies the stereo signal from the single male 1/4 jack to both 1/4 female outputs.

Inexpensive but seems solid
I had previously ordered another inexpensive headphone splitter that I had to return for an intermittent connector. Looking online I planned to order a Hosa brand and that site referred me to Amazon. I thought I was ordering Hosa but my referral sent me to this one. However, this splitter seems sturdy and the internal parts of the connectors also seem good. I have no intermittent connections with this ICESPRING" adapter when using headphones at the same time as a client.

Worked well
Used to sing duets through Yamaha digital pianos' speakers. Connected easily and worked well. Bought 2..one for home and one for church. Used 3 different Mics and all worked nicely.

It lasted 3 years with light use
One of the cables had bad connections. did not use much (like perhaps 20 times?). Looking for higher quality ones
