Unknown sharp object inside treats. Please beware.
Very concerned about this product... wanted to love it as my puppy enjoys them, but after slicing them up to make them smaller for my puppy, we found some objects inside the treats. They are very hard and sharp, kind of like a bone. I’d like to hear back from the company on what these are, as I didn’t find just one, but two!! Other buyers, please be aware, and try slicing these treats up before feeding your pets, for their safety.

Bite sized training treats that work great!
I was about out of the original treats I was using for clicker training, and went in search a couple other brands/flavors to mix things up. Bought a small bag of duck and rabbit, and they were both hits with our 7 year old AmStaff and 5 month old AmBully, with a preference for duck it seems. In fact, our older one loves them so much that when we started more complex training with teaching her the names of objects to grab, hold, and carry on command, she started to grab anything I put in front of her before I'd even said anything! Now that makes it easy to teach her names of things, that's for sure! For those that are interested, I went and figured out how many of these were in the bag since I like to know that information. Kept track of all the treats I used until the bag was almost empty, and counted what was left. Between the two, there's an average of 260 treats/ 170g bag at an average weight of about .62g/treat (They're place on dimes in the picture). The bag itself weighed about 10g. So, for a 1lb bag, that would average to about 700treats/bag after taking into account that the bag itself would be bigger.

Good Quality Treats, But Make Sure To Inspect First
Zuke's Training Treats are the one bite-sized treat that my dogs really enjoy. My doggies like the chicken recipe, but they seem to enjoy the pork recipe even better! It is also great for crushing the pellets and mixing it with their regular kibble to change things up a bit. This is a moist treat, therefore, it is more susceptible to spoilage than dry treats. I have ordered this product 5 times, and out of that, one shipment was already spoiled when I got it. These treats have a strong odor, similar to garlic breath, but this last shipment the odor was very foul. From now on, I will inspect the entire product before using it. I recommend you do the same if you decide to purchase this product. All was not lost, as I promptly rang up Amazon (seller and shipper), and customer service set me up with a replacement shipment. I will update my review once I receive the new shipment.Update: Amazon completely replaced my order and the new shipment's pellets were shiny and smooth (as they should be).

Highly desirable treat for my trash-eating puppy
My Lab puppy loves these. We've tried the chicken, rabbit, peanut butter, and salmon flavors and all have been a hit; chicken seems to be the most tempting. I like that they are small, meaning I don't have to break a stinky-ass meat cake into smaller pieces during training and end up with shredded animal residue under my nails for a week. These treats do smell quite strong and pretty foul, but the powerful scent makes them a strong lure for training and more rewarding when my dog completes the challenging task of putting her butt on the ground. Also great for redirecting my dog when she finds something intoxicating, such as a used condom or wad of toilet paper from the neighbor's trash, that I would prefer to not manually remove from her mouth. She will drop most nasty treasures in favor of a few of these in my palm. Also, beware that if you have a bag of these in your pocket, a pack of neighborhood dogs may suddenly start following you.

Poopocalypse is coming...
After over 24 hrs of the worst doggy runs, I realized it was due to these chicken treats. His diet has been consistent and nothing like this has every happened to him. He’s healthy and at a good weight. He actually loved the treats and they were great for training! I didn’t think much of it until the diarrhea hit immediately the next day.Unfortunately I read the one star reviews after the first and second wave of poopocaplyse. Based off of other people’s reviews, I believe there’s an inconsistency in batches and it’s not a risk I’m willing to take. Please take this into consideration as you do not want to be dealing with a bio-hazard when you get home from work. These bag of treats went immediately in the trash.

7+ years later and she still goes Ape...
I am making it my number one priority to video my dog when these come out. Our every night ritual for at least 7 years now, is to have these treats. We got these many years ago to start teaching our dog to sit ect. and they did the trick, she loved them. And would be super excited to preform anytime the bag came out. Before we could open the bag the laundry list of things we tried to teach her would ensue before we could get our hand in the bag...Sit, stand, lay, speak, roll over. It was just one long procession & we were supposed to start tossing them at her. Or shed attack our hand in the bag & dig at them furiously. We also used them to get her to learn to use stairs, she was afraid of them. We had them in a new house & put some by the bed for her since we had a super high platform bed. So we would toss these & she'd go tearing up & down them instead of being afraid. Anything for the snack. So basically they're magic pills because shell do whatever. She knows the difference between the amazon truck ( UPS typically) and the postman bringing a box & when she sees UPS she knows whats coming and knows the box is for her. ( not always) which leads to tail tucking, pouting and ignoring you till dinnertime) Our maltese is 12 now & still acts like a nut every night & in no way can we forget to give her the snackies before bed. Dukes...I love you & I hate you :) We've both created a little monster.

Great training treats
These treats are great for training, they are small and my 2 dogs love them. I have a 3kg toy poodle and an 18kg Staffie, so need treats that are suitable for both - these are perfect for us! They are small enough for my poodle and tasty enough to motivate both dogs during training and are gentle on their digestion.I only use these for training, so they last ages. Will be buying again!

These are BY FAR the best treats i have ever given to my little puppy
Look .... These are BY FAR the best treats i have ever given to my little puppy! Love them! They smell nice, she loves them and you can easily break them down to smaller pieces! The only negative thing was the delivery time but given the quality of the product i am willing to overlook it and give 5 stars. However be advised: 3 weeks of delivery time is not a nice amount of time to wait so that you can start treating your puppy.
