Works great

The bore scope is carefully packaged and comes with instructions. It even came fully charged. The screen and camera are high resolution and bright. The buttons on the screen are large and feel solid. The camera wire comes with Velcro loops for storage which is a nice touch.It seems to lack a zoom function and the ability to swivel the camera lead would be helpful but for a DIYer, this is more than sufficient.I am pleased with the quality of this item.

*UPDATE 3/31/25: Depstech reached out to me after seeing this review and stated they have a 2-year warranty and have sent me a replacement camera at no cost. Extra star added for warranty coverage and customer support.*I have now bought at least four inspection cameras from this company, usually different models. I use them in my auto shop and need ones with a side camera to inspect cylinder walls and difficult areas. Generally speaking, these are great cameras. Longevity, not so much. The reason I bought so many is because they keep breaking. This one in particular, for no reason that I can explain, would just say “no signal” when I turned it on and that was it. One day it just decided it was dead. I take good care of these cameras and always keep them clean and in a case because I hate buying them over and over again, but they just don’t seem to last for much more than a year. My advice would be to buy some of their models that are closer to the $50 price point with the dual lens. The image quality in my experience is good on pretty much all of them so I haven’t found a need to buy the really fancy ones and I don’t trust that they won’t break quickly.

This device works as intended. I like the side camera which allows a better all around view. The camera wire is stiff enough to be useful but still flexible. It really takes two hands to maneuver the camera around and the hand held screen is light enough that it won't stay still so I tied the screen to a weight to keep it steady while I worked the camera wire.The user interface is good but you will have to read the manual to figure out how to use it.I bought this primarily to look into the cylinder of my car engine. It worked great for that.

This borescope is awesome. Only problem is the cable is a little too flexible. However, I piggybacked it to the pressure washer hose with a sewer jet nozzle on the end. You have to make sure that the camera end is not in the direct line of the spray from the sewer jet nozzle. This allowed the camera to follow the hose end about 15' to the clogged 4" sewer pipe. I alternated between jetting and then checking the clog with the camera. It worked like a champ. Only wish they had a 25' model so I could go a little farther into the sewer pipe. Excellent tool!

EDIT: The product has a warranty and the product I had received had an issue, the seller sent me another one without having to return the original one and the one that came in has no issues at all! I'm very satisfied!!!PRE EDIT:The camera is great and the product is really nice, but there is a downside, which is the battery of it. On a full charge it would die within 5 minutes of use.

Picture clarity and light brightness worked well and did the job

Stopped working after return window. During a project screen turned blue NO SIGNAL appeared. Tried to reset. After about 4 hours of recharging tried again. Image came on momentarily then blue screen again. Instructions on Depstech website talks about NO SIGNAL screen but not how to get back to picture. Sent an email to the manufacturer. Waiting on their response. Endoscope has been used about 5 times since purchased.Manufacturer stood by their product and sent a replacement within a weeks time. During that time we ordered another model to complete our project so now we will have a backup.
