My husband did the install for these, as these are much more challenging than your typical doorknob. We both read the instructions and they were a little complex, but we eventually figured it out. If you have never installed anything like these before it will be a learning curve for all involved. However once you get them installed they will work and function great. These look really great on our doors.

This is a beautiful improvement to a pair of interior sliding doors. There was a learning curve to the first one but the second one went in easy. They function well. What a lovely upgrade and improvement. These darker colors are a transitional look to an older home and gives the room such an upscale vibe.

I just recently had my bathroom renovated and chose this door lock. Unfortunately after installation, the turning mechanism that engages the lock would not rotate without putting a lot of strength in it. The second problem is that the lock/latch became stuck in the casing and I had to disassemble the whole thing. Now it's in pieces...I don't know if I just got a bad one in the bunch or what.Very frustrating

Very cheap parts and broke within month of use on both units. Buy a trusted brand such as kwikset.

The media could not be loaded.  This pocket door lock took some time to install, but works great once installed properly. I ordered the privacy lock for my bathroom, so no keys are needed. My door already has a standard 2-1/8" diameter bore hole with a standard backset of 2-3/8" from the edge of the door, which is what this lock is designed for. This lock won't fit a door with a 2-3/4" backset. But, for some reason, the bolt assembly of this lock is just a little too long and hits the back side of the bore hole, which is not a big issue if you don't mind the faceplate to stick out just a little (see photos). I took the time to bore out the back side of the bore hole to allow the bolt assembly to sit flush with the edge of the door. Once that is done, the rest of the installation was a breeze. The only other thing that I needed to do was to shorten the lock spindle, which was very easy to do with a set of pliers. The spindle allows for a maximum door thickness of 1-3/4". My door has a standard thickness of 1-3/8". So, I just break off the end of the spindle at the preset cut off lines to make it short enough for my door. The strike plate was easy to install without any complications. I like the fact this this lock fits a pre-bored door (sort of) and the mechanics of this lock is simple and does not have many parts that might break in the future. And it works and looks great. Would recommend it.

This is a nice looking door lock and made well but the price seems to be high to me. Its just metal and a door lock with a basic key. Its easy enough to install with the right tools and looks good when done so overall its a good product.
