I recently decided that I needed to change the grips on a few of my clubs, and did some research into proper how-to techniques - many of which recommended a hook blade for the removal of old grips, rather than using a box cutter or utility knife. So I found this kit on Amazon that included a hook blade, grip tape strips (pre-cut), solvent, and a rubber clamp for a vise grip. The hook blade worked perfectly, the grip tape was already cut to the proper dimensions, the solvent did exactly what it needed to, and the rubber grip kept things steady while I worked.I highly recommend this kit if you're looking to change your own grips - this kit plus a YouTube tutorial or two will have your clubs in tip-top shape, even if you're a beginner like me!

Everything worked great the only thing I want to say is I it will start to set almost immediately so you have to get the grip on right where you want it before you slide it on because you don’t have much time or wiggle room to move it around, I had a problem where one of my grips didn’t go on all the way either because I didn’t have enough of the liquid or whatever it is on there and it got stuck and I couldn’t move it at all or take it off to start again so I had to cut the grip off and put another one on. I don’t foresee these grips ever coming off after trying my hardest to remove that failed grip with everything I had once it got stuck halfway.As for removing the sticky stuff from the clubs I had problems with some of my cheaper clubs because it looks like those handles were just glued on but on my nicer clubs the handles were stuck on there with tape and everything came off no problem and it was almost ready to go immediately. The first club was ready to go after I got done with the last it works very quicklyI’d definitely recommend doing this with your clubs in a vice if you have that option otherwise you’ll probably get that liquid all over you and it’s much harder to line up the grips with the club

great set, works well and price is reasonable. There are enough tapes for the whole set of clubs and the liquid is enough. First time for me to change the grips and it was easy. Highly recommended.

Product was as described. Nice feel to the grip. Good deal for the price too! Only thing to note is the grips had a heavy odor that was like they were soaked in fuel (although I hope that isn’t true, but there is definitely a strong chemical type for to them).

This is a great kit. Works perfectly with no issues of slipping with my new grips. Be careful of the knife as it does not lock closed. I pulled it out of the bag and the blade slid forward and cut me. Not a big deal, just be cautious. This is a great kit!

Ordered to re grip my clubs and this kit worked perfectly. The solvent made the grips go on easy and after I let them dry they held the grip great. Highly recommend.

This kit made it painless to get the old ones off and the new ones on!

I bought this to re-grip my putter but it came with so many stickers I decided to do my whole set. The vice insert and the grip cutter work great and the solution holds very firm once they dry. All the YouTube videos said to use 'copious' amounts of solution so I did and I still haven't gone through all of it after gripping 12 clubs. Love this little kit.
