Amazing in every way. Balanced well, fits small and large hands well, sharp very sharp and it’s very attractive too. Slices vegetables or meat very thinly. Tomatoes and other vegetables do not stick to the blade. The only downside is the is no blade protector.

Carefully packaged with lots of bubble wrap and cardboard. Each knife was packed individually in a cardboard sleeve and bubble wrap with little plastic tips to protect the tips of the knives.Absolutely beautiful and makes an elegant statement on my kitchen counter. The wood block is gorgeous with fine, tight grain wood and thoughtfully recessed routing around each knife slot. This way, the block top is kept pristine and any nicks made inserting knives in the block top won’t show. I have never seen this thoughtful feature on any other knife set of any price. Also love the engraved logo on front. Nothing glued on to loosen and fall off.The knives themselves are beautiful works of art which are super sharp, well made, full tang, with good weight and comfortable grip. Cutting is a breeze!I like that this set has all the basic knives I need without extraneous knives I’d never use.Only downside is that the set is tall under my kitchen counters and I’ll have to slide the block forward to remove a knife. Slightly inconvenient, however, that is hardly a deal breaker. Looking forward to using this set for years to come!

Beautiful and sooo sharp! I'm considering marriage.

The knife is very sharp, well balanced and a great deal for the money. I just wish products were accurately described and I am not lead on as a consumer. But I also know, you probably can't buy an actual Damascus for this price, BUT was expecting that I had found an insane deal because of the description that literally says "REAL Damascus, 67 layers..." It is 100% etched on design and the the texture added to the blade is just to fool others who don't know any better. Other than being completely lied to, I actually do like this knife. The price was totally fair for what I got. I am an in home personal chef and use the knife everyday, all day. It has not chipped, it stays quite sharp and does the job. I also wish it came with a sheath, as it's hard to find one after the fact, that fits the knife perfectly. Is there a way to buy a sheath from the same company that is made for this particular knife?? If so, maybe the company will see this and reach out? If they do, I will attach a like to this review.

Used them to slice up skirt meat to make fajitas. Can”t believe how nice and easy it was. Cut up about 20-25 pounds of skirt and still cut up all the vegetables with ease.

I do A LOT of fruits and vegetables per week. Just carrots alone, I prep 8 to 10 lbs. where we have a dog with extensive food allergies and I have to do food for her. Then on top of that there's all the prep for the rest of us in the house. I was getting fatigued using a Chef's knife and having problems with vegetables splitting into irregular cuts (no matter how sharp my Chef's knife was). After researching Nakiri knives I decided to invest in one. So incredibly grateful I did. This knife cuts with little effort and slices through the thickest vegetables without any hesitation, leaving behind a smooth, even cut. Night and day in terms of Nakiri vs. Chef's knife. Highly recommend it. The knife is well made, well balanced, with a comfortable handle that keeps its comfort no matter how long you're using it for. My new favorite knife!UPDATE - I've had this knife now for just shy of a year. I just sharpened it for the first time since I bought it. This is my MOST USED knife in my kitchen. Its used at least twice a day and a lot of times more than that. The amount of use and the fact that I just now needed to sharpen it says a lot for the quality of steel in the blade. It has no problem holding a sharp edge with extended use. HIGHLY recommend this knife!

Incredible set of knives! Beautifully made and super sharp. Wife loves them. She says they're so amazing she's saving them for me when I come home late. Maybe she's gonna make me some special food? I don't know. But she sure loves them, though!
