100#7 Glassine Envelopes Measuring 4 1/8 x 6 1/4 inches

Note to people who want to write or draw directly on the envelopes - the surface is waxed. Stickers and labels still stick to it perfectly, but I had originally intended to be able to use an ink stamper on front for decoration. I was able to stamp on sticker paper and stick that to the envelope, which I think looked better anyway. Other than that, the envelopes are perfect.

I hoped these envelopes would be an acid-free option for storing my old 4x6 photos in photo boxes. Unfortunately, the dimensions are just *too* close to 4x6 to fit more than a few comfortably in one envelope.And because they're a third-party seller, basically impossible to return for any money back. Only buy them for stamps!

Good product for photo storage and protection, but the flap is a little awkward when adding or removing photos. I knew the product I was ordering but would have ordered one without a flap if available. A simple opening at one end would have been better, especially for photo storage.

These are useful for a great many things. I use them for scrapbooking and card-making, to store ephemera, embellishments, stickers, stamped images, die-cuts, index cards with quotes or sentiments on them, and "gallery" ideas for inspiration. I sort by topic, season, event, color, collection, holiday and others, and store them in photo storage boxes. The quality is excellent--holds up well to use. The availability of sizes and the ability to see what is in the envelope helps keep all these items well organized and easily accessible.

Was looking for small 4x6 envelopes to protect fabric art postcards. I wanted something to protect the artwork while still allowing it to show through. These are their perfect size and met the specifications. I’ll have a great supply that will last for a long while.

I use these glassine envelopes to hold a set of eight 4x6 postcards printed on 235gsm matte photo paper. They're PERFECT for the job. Exactly the right translucency and smooth finish, with just a hint of crinkle after handling. With eight thick cards inside, I have to crease the flap to create a little spine—super easy to do (I just run my finger along the flap with the cards inside) and the result is quite elegant. Great value for the money!

I purchased these envelopes for my scratch off wedding favors. I wanted envelopes that weren’t completely transparent and these are perfect!

Bought the envelopes to store all the photos, cabinet cards, and some tin types from an1890s photo album. They also work well for old glass plate negatives.
